  The Gasthof zur Post is in a great central location in Vohenstrauss and the prices for accomodation and food are very reasonable.The Huttl family who run the hotel are very friendly, personable and helpful, as are the other members of staff.I discovered that the Huttl family and I share an "Ohio Connection", which proves that the world is indeed s... vad folk säger » mall.Frau Huttl helped me with information on bus connections to my next destination, which I appreciated.I enjoyed the dinner and breakfast at the P - I would recommend this family run hotel to anyone travelling to the Czech Republic. We found it an absolute delight, with good hosts and wonderful food. It has good access to the motorway.

  Staff, room, price of room, cleanliness of room. - It met all of our expectations, e.g., a clean, friendly, low-cost place for a stop-over. Very nice clean rooms, friendly welcome by owners, good breakfast and dinner (optional), a good night's sleep at a quiet place.

  We really enjoyed our stay at Landgasthof Am Sonnenhang and would love to be back. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming. The room is very convenient and is designed with taste. Plus there is a restaurant in the hotel with excellent food!! The breakfast was delicious with some excellent choices of cheese and meet, fresh coffee and pastry. Very clean, spacious room, comfortable beds with fresh, crisp, bedding. Our room had a nice stone patio looking into a wooded area. Dinner at the on sight restaurant was delicious and breakfast next morning was plentiful, lots of choices, great coffee. Excellent value for your money.

  Nice, freshly renovated hotel in country style. Nice ambiente in mostly red/yellow colours. Very clean rooms with comfy beds and a bathroom which is nearly clinical clean. They offer also sauna, massage and free WLAN. The food is good average. Rooms and food is quite cheap. So it's very priceworthy. Restaurant time are a little restricted (only 18:00 - 21:00) but you must have in mind that this is a owner-operated hotel - Excellent location, easy to find. The landlady is very friendly, check in and out uncomplicated. Highlight is the kitchen, the cook is a master of his art. The beer is excellet. Congratulations.
