  The hospitality was wonderful and the food was excellent. The breakfast was sumptuous, with plenty of breads, hams, cheeses, fruit, cereal, jams, soft-boiled eggs, coffee, and orange juice. The dinners were likewise delicious and the restaurant was cozy. Our room was very comfortable and, of course, spotless. It's too bad that the weather was so poor, since it would have been great to have sat on the s - My husband and I arrived at Gasthaus Rasstuble around 7.30pm, with fruit and chocolates in our room.A big plus was having the restaurant attached to the building where we could eat, rather than us having to drive into the town for dinner. The breakfast we could not fault, a good selection for the size of the Gasthaus. Alexandria and Albert were very helpful. What we loved most was the fact you could hear the running of water in the creek nearby. So peacefu.l

  The location of the hotel is right on the edge of the Black Forest,which made a hike quite easy to do. The staff were extremely friendlyand helpful. The hotel was perfectly located for our visit - EuropaPark, Triberg, and Felburg. - friendly, helpful and considerate staff, a lovely stay and an excellent dinner.

  Our host and wife were amazing. He tries so hard to speak English and it's absolutely adorable! The light in our bathroom was burnt out upon arrival but as soon as we noticed he sent for replacement :). It was fixed within the hour. The hotel is a charming cute little home turned into a hotel. You will not experience the high ends of a city hotel ... vad folk säger » here, but more of a cabin feel. Toiletries are not provided, but I expected this among my travel in Europe. Breakfast was included and was delightful - The hospitality of the owner compensates for his little English, with a true smile and plenty of attentions to the customers. A big room with a big bathroom (we had no terrace). Everything very clean. The rural style is warm, not old-style or baroque. The breakfast is offered in the ground floor, in a very large room that might work as a restaurant or as a bar. The house is in a beautiful valley. We got a public transport pass to go to Freiburg and the black forest for free for the days bein
