  We liked the authenticity of the Castle. The staff made us feel special. They were well educated on the food, wine, history of the area. Also very accommodating when it came to luggage needs. There was no language barrier, as all staff spoke english. I highly recommend this site as a "special" place to stay - Very friendly staff and always ready t... vad folk säger » o assist. Porter service to get luggage from parking to the castle is great as the person brought the bags to our rooms (tower rooms). Staff checked us in at 12(noon) and very accomodating with an infant.

  The hotel was completely updated two years ago by the husband and wife owners who reside in the hotel. The hotel has old world charm on the outside and is beautiful and spotless on the inside. The breakfast was delicious and first rate. We had a top floor room with a view of the of Mosel River. The owners helped with luggage on the hotel lift/elev... vad folk säger » ator. You can off load luggage on the street in front of the hotel. Then the staff directs you to free parking a short distance from the hotel. Severa - We told the owner Sabine we will come back one day and yes, we will! The region is an absolute delight. The hotel is top notch. Comfort, cleanliness, convenience and hearty breakfast with homemade jam and fruit medley made an wonderful stay. The family owned Zehnthauskeller took wine tasting to another level. Sitting in the 400 year old wine cellar sipping local wine was the best way to wrap up a day of sightseeing.

  Loved the building - big rooms with comfortable old furniture looking out on attractive street with half-timbered houses and hotel bar in small garden. Glimpse of the Rhine 50 yards away.   The appearance and originality of the building. There are many interesting items in the property such as old sewing machines which give a homey feel. The sympathetic but quality renovation of the property allows one to enjoy the experience of being in an old building with the benefits of modern living.
