  We had a nice room; requested 2 double rooms and ended up with an apartment like room, which was perfect with our kids. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was served in the Eis Cafe and the selection was limited, rolls, meat and cheese, but it was filling and the price was right - Clean, basic, very good breakfast.

  Our view of the vineyards and the mosel river were fabulous. Briedel is a very small town, so dining options were limited. Our hotel had a wonderful breakfast included in our stay, and the rooms were modern and extremely clean and comfortable. The most memorable was how nice Stephan & Frank were. I will never forget the friendly conversation at breakfast over an entire - Quite outstanding hospitality offered by Stefan and Frank - friendly, interesting and helpful in every way. This is a simple, clean and unpretentious hotel offering really excellent value for money. The four days spent at Zum Anker enabled us to appreciate (for the first time) some of the reasons that people love the Moselle - we strongly recommend this Hotel and the whole area.

Good views across the Mosel just a few yards from the front door and a quiet area but handy for the centre of town. It offers all the comfort you may need: lcd tv, coffee maker Sensor, microwave, water heater for coffee and tea, electric stove, refrigerator. It is equipped with crockery, cutlery and cookware. The very good breakfast (surcharge) - The apartment was beautiful, very clean and tasteful equipped. There is also parking for cars. The breakfast is amazing and reasonably priced. After having been to the Feriendomizil am Lindenplatz in Bullay in Germany we realized how overpriced many other hotels / apartments are, particularly in various neighbouring countries. We will certainly return to the place and would recommend it to everyone to stay there; there is no risk for disappointment. 10 / 10 !!

  This is of course not a hotel but an apartment. The host family were extremely pleasant and helpful, even though we spoke only a few words of German. The flat was spacious, very comfortable and furnished to a fairly high standard, if a little conservatively.Large bathroom with brilliant shower - much appreciated in that very hot week.
