  This hotel was very different to most we have stayed at. It was uniquely special. We were effectively welcomed into the owners' home (which is a very grand castle) and treated as a member of their family for the duration of our stay. All of the guests were invited to drink and eat together in the evening. Additionally: - the castle and grounds are... vad folk säger » beautiful and even better than the pictures. We visited with our small dog, Jasper, and he enjoyed playing in the vast gardens. - the pool area is ve - We were made to feel so welcome by the owners from the moment we arrived until the day of our departure. Wonderful, gourmet food which was plentiful and served by the very friendly staff. We also loved the free flowing drinks in the beautiful lounge area prior to our evening meal and met some lovely people at that time. A stunning chateau hotel and one which we would love to return to.

  Very friendly staff they speak very little English. Made us feel very welcome. Clean and functional. This is no Hilton but as a stopover en-route down south it was an excellent choice for location and great value for money. Very good typical French breakfast with great coffee. The hotel is lovely and quiet. - We had a large room (no.10) with comfortable beds and plenty of hot water for the shower. The weather was poor during our stay but the room had thermostatically controlled radiators so we stayed warm. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful and recommended a good brasserie for dinner. The brekfast was good. We particularly liked the secure parking for our classic car and we were able to put it under cover

  Arrived after a very long motorbike ride. The welcome was friendly rooms were great. has its own restaurant and bar so no need to go out for anything! Food excellent owner very helpful and good company! Had a glass or two with him after the meal. We could not have chosen a better hotel. Although on busy roundabout no road noise as double glazed. ... vad folk säger » Do not be put off by slightly flaky exterior paint work this place is a diamond!! We plan to return in August on way to Southern France. - Just a simple hotel, good beds and linnen. Friendly staff. Bar open till late and drinks are very affordable. Unfortunately we did not have breakfast or lunch, so I can't tell about that. Menu looked good anyway.

  The check in was easy, the staff were friendly and helpful (and patient) when dealing with a very sleep deprived customer! The rooms are not massive but everything one wanted was there and the shower head can be adjusted so if you are very tall like me you can set it high enough to not have to stoop over while showering. There was a lovely place to eat about 100m away and the area was quiet a - What the staff lacked in speaking English they made up for in warmth & friendliness. Convenient parking, quiet location. Ibis are standardised so very reliable, all rooms are the same. Great shower.

  We were very pleased with Alencimmo. We booked it as a stop-over halfway between Calais and Tranche sur Mer (Eurocamps). It was exactly as described, very clean, modern and our apartment was perfect for a family (two adults, three children aged 12, 9 and 5.)
