  We toured Corsica by car in early April, this hotel was our 2nd stop having first stayed in ‘La Pietra’ hotel on the wild peninsula of L’ile Rousse. Les Mouettes has charm and character; it was very clean and tastefully decorated. The fridge was really handy to stock up on the local Corsican rosé for aperitif and picnic suppl - Very attentive staff, discrete and professional. We arrived early, and staff when out of their way to make us feel at home: we were offered a room to shower and change, and showed to the small private beach where we relaxed until our room was ready. Our room was spacious, comfortable, with a great view of the gulf. All through our short stay, the staff proved friendly and helpful. A great first night in Corsica !

  We couldn't fault any aspect of this hotel. The warm and efficient welcome was excellent. The website states that check-in is until 20:00hrs but as our ferry only docked at 20:00hrs we didn't get to the hotel until about 20:30hrs and this was not an issue at all. The hotel were more than happy to keep our luggage whilst we went to collect our car the next day and then - Spent one night in Bastia waiting to catch the ferry. Great location close to the port.   This place is a haven of peace a few kilometres outside calvi center, with great views of the citadelle and the sea, as well as of the beautiful gardens of the b&b. Very good breakfast including fresh orange juice enjoyed by the pool. There are only 4 rooms so our stay was wonderfully calm and peaceful. This place is ideally suited for adults.... vad folk säger » - Really nice and friendly host speaking perfect english. Beautiful grounds and rooms, especially shaded terrace. We were only guests and it was off-season but hot-tub was turned on for us at 8pm. Fresh orange juice in breakfest. Everything was perfectly clean and in order, no complaints or problems with anything whatsover.

  There was a warm welcome right from the start - and this continued through breakfast (more than adequate) to checking out. The rooms are really mini-apartments (with kitchen facilities) and so there is the chance to cook and eat 'at home' (there are also tables and chairs outside in the small courtyard). Literally in centre of town. Clean &comfortable rooms. Off street parking, free but a little tricky to get to. Very friendly & helpful staff, with limited English, but warm & friendly.
