  This is a beautiful hotel in the center of core Paris resulting in having all top spots (sightsing, restaurants and shopping) within walking distance. The hotel consists of 6 floors and we enjoyed a standard room (nr. 66 – Justine & Charles) on the 6th floor. Our window faced the back yard and was really nothing to special - This hotel experience was superb. The staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly, which is extremely welcome in a city known for hostility to visitors. The rooms and common areas look superb and recently renovated. The deluxe double room we stayed in was lovely and had a very comfortable washroom and shower. Daily turndown service was an added and unexpected bonus.   We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The room was VERY spacious and on the quiet side overlooking an inside courtyard. The bathroom was particularly surprisingly new and spacious with a large modern shower and double face basin. The toilet was a separate area. The staff was VERY helpful and professional.   The staff was so accommodating and friendly. We had an extra person join us in the room, they were able to give us a suite, they got us reservations for a show that was booked when we tried to call etc. The breakfast that is included was great!! The staff was incredible and more along the lines of what I wuld expect from a 5 star hotel. The gentleman who works during the evenings got us an unforgetable dinner after 9 pm on Valentines Day. Then he was more then willing to make some phone calls in order to make sure we could get into an excellent night club.

  The Location which central to tourist sites + the cleanliness of the room - The location was fantastic, the Scribe is an excellent hotel with very polite staff.
