  This is second time we have stayed here as we really loved our stay previously. The hotel is more a motel with each room having its own front door straight outside. The rooms are small but don't let that put you off as they are decorated in the French whitewashed style with matching pictures. The bathrooms are good with a hot shower and desperate ... vad folk säger » toilet. The hotel is situated in a little village just 2 mins from the motorway making it an ideal spot for visiting Monets garden ore exploring the s - It's a good place for short staying with your family or friends. Breakfast is perfect, not like a traditional french breakfast. It was a buffet with eggs, ham, cheese, yogurt, juices etc. There are two restaurants just on the same place: grille and pizza, that was really convenient and the food was tasty. Good free parking. Garden Giverny, Chateau Gaillard, Chateau Bisy are situated just 20 min. By car. Don't forget, please, to buy you ticket to Giverny on-line! There is a really huge queue!

  We initially planned to break our journey home from the south of France in Paris but after a little consideration decided that it would provide an excellent opportunity for a visit to Monet’s garden at Giverny. We selected Les Jardins du Val because of the excellent reviews on letsbookhotel.com and we were not disappointed. Breakfast was - The hotel is wonderful and I highly recommend it to everyone. It is located in a small village in an old house. There're only 3 or 4 rooms. Our room had its own entrance from the garden and the bathroom had windows to the garden - it was awesome.The host was more than kind. He helped us plan our further journey, suggested how to visit Monet house in Giverny when it is least crowded and gave lots of other useful advices about travelling in Normandy.
