  The owner went out of his way to make me feel at home. His friendliness and helpfulness made my stay in the island to unforgettable. - The location was good, just a few blocks from city centre. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and so it the hotel.

Hotel was spotless and all staff super friendly. The restaurant was nice overlooking the bay.   This is the place to stay when you're in the Galapagos. My fiance and I stayed 2 nights (we would have stayed longer, but it was completely booked) and then stayed at 2 other hotels.   We liked everything about this hotel - it was by far the best we stayed in while in Ecuador. The hotel was extremely clean, the wi-fi worked great in our rooms, the shower always had hot water (sometimes a problem in other places in Ecuador). Got a great deal on bookings.com Now, this is not a luxury hotel and no where in Puerto Aroya will you get the value for your dollar that you got on the mainland, but this was perfect for us and I would go back in a minute. The staff had great suggestions for dinners out, short hikes to sights nearby, and arranged laundry for us after our Macchupicchu trek.   My husband and I stayed at Semilla Verde Lodge for a week. It was an absolutely fantastic experience! We definitely recommend it to other travelers! We were picked up at the airport, their driver Hugo was extremely helpful and kind, super good manner! We were family with a baby of 1 year and a half but there was no inconvenience and all of them helped us a lot. Even we could use their kitchen. There were two tortoises in the Lodge's garden and it was fun just to take a walk there.
