We enjoyed our stay at Alt Pension. The owners from this family hotel are very friendly, and they will do anything to make your stay comfortable. The breakfeast is excellent. The rooms are very big, quied and beds are good.
We especially liked the diner, it was really one category higher dan you can expect from other hotels.
The prices are also good.
Don't expect to be very close at prague, but it's perfectly reachable by bus/metro or by P/R with the car and then the metro. (+/- 30minutes)

Almost luxury grade, but without the services, extra staff and attention to details ... if you don't care about such things it makes for good value. Parking is in an underground garage, and you drive into a big elevator to get there. Space is tight, so I would expect people with large cars would have trouble. We managed ok in an Audi A3.
