  Friendly home owner, our kids (6,7,10) had a lot of fun playing with the owners kids. The room was very clean, we also had use of a joined kitchen. Nice area, we stayed there to go to the pltvice lakes. With the car it took less then 15 minutes to get there. - 1.   My couple and I were in Plitvicka Jezera last August. We did not plan it in advance and we had no reservation at any hostel, so after three hours looking for accomodation we found ourselves with no place to sleep! I just wanted to thank the staff of Pansion Winnetou for being so helpful because altough they didn't have any vacancy at their place, a... vad folk säger » nd that it was really late they managed to find a great apartment for us! Thanks for everything, maria and Josep. - The staff was very nice and very friendly. Room and bathroom were clean and renovated. It is easy to find and few minutes driving from Plitvicka Jezera. The restaurant/kitchen is opened on evening and ordered food was delicious. We recomend to stay there and for sure try restaurant.

  We had a great host with excellent English and were given a complimentary drink on arrival. He gave us recommendations of where to eat out and shared the homemade brandy too! Room was very clean and nicely furnished in a beautiful setting. Would definitely return ourselves if we visit plitvice again and would highly recommend to others. Pictures a... vad folk säger » re realistic but don't particularly do the place justice (i.e. it's nicer when you get there than the pictures suggest) - My sister and I were in Holiday and really enjoyed our stay here. Note- I believe this is the newer/smaller version of the Pansion house that the original owners father built and runs. It is a little farther outside of the park (3k?) but made no difference with a car. The proprietor was very attentive and the rooms were well kept and clean. Added bonus: the water pressure in the shower was fantastic!

  Words can hardly describe how excellent our stay was at House Izvor. Situated in the beautiful countryside, surrounded by green fields and mountains this accommodation is a pearl for the traveller.
