  The lady who owned it and her son were very friendly and helpful. I had the sea view room and it was no more than 30ft away it was brilliant.Dubrovnik is beautiful and friendly. Lots of steps everywhere though as the terrain is naturally mountainous - Paradise. Located at Dubrovnik. These views of the balcon to the sea and the sunset is unforgett... vad folk säger » able.   A great place to stay out of Dubrovnik right on the water. Very friendly hosts who ensured we were looked after well. The water outside the front door was glorious to swim in and we were lucky enough to have a direct view of the water. We had a very clean and spacious room. Breakfast was most appropriate.   The Lee family would like to thank you for a very pleasant week in a very nice and clean apartment in a perfect location for those whose is seeking relaxation and good food along the coast. The accommodation has a private access to the sea for swimming. There is a pebble beach within a short walking distance from the apartment for sun bathing and ... vad folk säger » swimming. The journey from Dubrovnik airport to the apartments is about 30 minutes by car. Dubrovnik is a 15 minutes drive from the apartment. I reco - Mr. Gano and his wife were very nice and friendly. The studio is perfect for a young or mature couple and, the best thing for a group of three families would be to rent the entire place for a summer vacation (and the option to hire Mr. Gano and his big boat). And finally, the fascinating town of Dubrovnick with its 24/7 attractions and festivals from July and August.

  We spent 6 days and nights at Apartmani Matea. Our host's were wonderful, informative and forever helpful. Our room (studio) was perfect, modest, comfortable and had a beautiful view from sunrise till sunset. Definitely the best location (Stikovica) in the Zaton bay area. The local beach was wonderful as too the locals and the food offered at the ... vad folk säger » 2 Konobas. This was our 2nd time to Dubrovnik and we much preferred our accommodation here than in the old city. We plan on staying again next year. R - The sea view was absolutely amazing -you could spend all day on the spacious balcony just watching the sea - cruise ships, boats, the coast, people. It was just great. The beach was a short walk. Dubrovnic was only 15 minutes down the road. It was a great base for visiting the city. Our kids really enjoyed staying here. The owners were really nice and very friendly and the apartment had everything we needed.

  In-car navigation got us directly to the place with no problems. Super friendly and hospitable owner. Best spot in Zaton with small private (rocky) beach and absolutely gorgeous Mediterranean sunset views. Absolutely recommended! - Very friendly Staff GREAT view Private acces to the sea

The proprietors were so helpful and friendly. it was relaxing, quiet and family friendly.The village had two restaurants but no shop.This was not a problem as the proprietors offered to take us to the nearest shop (about half a mile away) whenever we wished at no charge! We had a rental car which was helpful, but owners will shuttle you into Old City since parking is very difficult. Villa Doris is very clean, and quiet with simple, very affordable accommodations. A definite recommendation for the best of both worlds.....easy beach, boat access and the cultural life of Dubrovnik.

  Very nice and helpful staff. We had the room with balcony and beautiful sea and mountains view. The sea was very close, but there were no beach, the closest pebble beach was about 1 km walking distance. Bus stop next to the hotel.   be advise that you need a car to get here and it was a little difficult to find the place because of the construction going on, so make sure you have a GPS. The entrance to the apartments is a little scary because you have to make a left and a quick right or you will fall down a cliff.   The hosts were super lovely - they cooked us dinner, gave us beer every day, gave us a tour of local attractions and looked after us very well and gave us lots of info on the area etc. Clean bedding and towels etc like every other day.   Everything! But most of all our hosts, a married couple who obviously love and pride on what they do. - the breakfast spread was the best we've had in Europe! Eggs boiled and scrambled, sausages, cold cuts, cheeses, jams, home made cakes, home grown figs/grapes etc, fresh juices, yoghurt, muesli, tea/coffee, we couldn't eat most of it! The cakes ... vad folk säger » were to die for and I normally don't eat sweets, ate 3 slices in one sitting! - they kindly allowed us to use their laundry then before we had the cha - We stayed for 1 week. Before that we have been travelling around the world for 7 months and we never experienced such generosity. Sead and Zena are the best hosts. We enjoyed their food, wine, fresh vegetables and explanation about Dubrovnik so much! The bus stop is really just in front the house. It takes about 20 min to get to the center. Ideal if you enjoy some quiet instead of the busy center. Airco is super, garden is really nice! The hosts are always happy and willing to help! I would def

  Great accomodation with excellent hosts. The beach is spectacular. The apartment is clean and spacious. Highly recommended!! - The private 20m.beach, owner family are excellent frendly. All day shadow place on the beach.Car parking place.
