  Hvala, Hvala, Hvala (Thank you, thank you, thank you). A magnificant stay. Owners and staff are so friendly and flexible. A lot of different languages spoken (heared German, English, Italian) and one even was flexible to support our helpless attempts to at least speak a bit of Croatian ;) A really family driven place and you recognize that everybo... vad folk säger » dy over there has fun with the job they are doing. This is hospitality at it's best and we would even give a 20 point rating here if possible. Stayed - We spent 3 nights at the Miric and had a great time. Close to the entrances to the Lakes this hotel is family run and Lili seems to be involved in everything. Her mother runs the kitchen whilst her father deals with any issues that arise. Our room No 17 was spotlessly clean, modern and the bed was extremely comfortable.   We had a great host with excellent English and were given a complimentary drink on arrival. He gave us recommendations of where to eat out and shared the homemade brandy too! Room was very clean and nicely furnished in a beautiful setting. Would definitely return ourselves if we visit plitvice again and would highly recommend to others. Pictures a... vad folk säger » re realistic but don't particularly do the place justice (i.e. it's nicer when you get there than the pictures suggest) - My sister and I were in Holiday and really enjoyed our stay here. Note- I believe this is the newer/smaller version of the Pansion house that the original owners father built and runs. It is a little farther outside of the park (3k?) but made no difference with a car. The proprietor was very attentive and the rooms were well kept and clean. Added bonus: the water pressure in the shower was fantastic!

  Comfy clean rooms, pool was nice too! Breakfast was included in our booking which was great as could stuff yourself and then just snack for lunch (was cereal, yogurt, scrambled egg, hotdog sausages, toast with honey jam or cream cheese, cheeses, sliced meat and fruit). Evening meals are 16 euros (drinks are extra, beer/juice is 2 euros) we shared ... vad folk säger » one meal between us as you got a big bowl of soup (one portion was enough for two bowls each), bread basket, bowl of salad and a big platter of fish/t - Facilities - it was a treat to come back to a pool after a day of walking at Plitvice National Park. Room had air-conditioning which was very much needed! The room was beautifully clean. Location - Close to entrance two by car (walking would be along a fast flowing road). Food - breakfast was excellent - fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, scrambled eggs and bread. The hotel also provided a two course dinner for a set price which we found to be great value for money. Staff - fantastic and very helpful

The owner picked me up from/dropped me to the entrance whenever possible (Though located in a quiet residential area only 5 minutes drive from Entrance 2, still quite a hike without own vehicle).   My partner, I and a friend stayed at Rooms Glumac for 3 nights whilst visiting the Plitvice Lakes! The location is perfect, being just a 2 minute drive away from the Plitvice entrance!   We came after Plitvice lakes, a little later then the check in time and it was still fine... The owner was very nice, she gave us cups and a tea pot to make tea/coffee in the morning... She could also explain to us about the lakes and what to do in the area...it was close to the lakes and cheaper then the hotels at the lakes. 1 day in plitvice is ... vad folk säger » more then enough!!! Make sure u go for dinner before 22:00 because they start closing but still they will never ask u to leave, they always wait 'till - Really good accomadtion and nice owners. They do everything for their guests. No direct bus connecion between Plitvice and Jezerce, but this was quickly solved by the hosts, they offer a shuttle service for their guests. We stayd in the 4-persons appartment, which was really comfortable. Good price/quality-ration.

  This family run hotel is a lovely house in a beautifully decorated green area. Everything was nice and well prepared. The room was quite big with enough space for the stuff. The owner was a nice and friendly lady with a good knowledge of German language who prepared a nice homemade simple but nice breakfast.   What a wonderful stay we had! Our hostess was so pleasant, she treated us like family. We stayed at the upstairs/downstairs room that slept five people. All beds, a couch and a desk are upstairs. Downstairs is quite small but comfortable. Everything you need is there--the stove, fridge, dishes. The bathroom is small in size, but it did not bother ... vad folk säger » us. The double bedroom upstairs has a heater on the wall that you can turn on to keep the upstairs warmer. I believe downstairs heat is turned off lat - We loved the apartment as it was perfect for a group of four friends. We each had our own bed and we were very comfortable. We chose to have the meals provided for two suppers and two breakfasts as they were convenient, delicious and good value. Rosa and her family were excellent hosts and the parting gifts of schnapps and calendars were appreciated. Plitvice House Pox was easy to find and a short drive to entrance #2, about 4 km. I would heartily recommend Plitvice House Pox.

  Very homely and welcoming spot to stay ,near the Pltvice Lakes. Igor came and picked me up from the bus station-very nice touch. - The owner, Igor, was very helpful and made us feel very welcome during our stay.   Very friendly woman whose place it is. The room was large and well decorated. The shower was heavenly. We could sit outside and enjoy the weather. Close to the Plitvice Nat'l Park. - We had a great stay at the Dada house. The owner is very nice, and the breakfasts were excellent. The location just south of the park is perfect.

A market is nearby in walking distance (located uphill opposite the main road).   The location is easy to get even we didn't have a car. There are buses comes by the bus station 5m walk from the house. The gril who works there was really nice to us, and we had a great dinner at the house, it was really delicious and with good price. As with other reviewers the husband was extremely helpful and drove us to a cash machine and then on to the bus stop when we had a little less cash than we thought.
