  The rooms were great! Soft lightbulbs, not clinical white.. Nice and bright lighting. Whole room was very warm and attractive. Beds, sheets and pillows were very nice, room layout was very friendly. The sink and closet - all of it was very good for the price. For the money I doubt you'd find anything better :) - Our trip was to help our son relocate to Victoria from Edmonton. It took a few days to move into an apartment so they switched him to a room with kitchenette; (even on-site washer/dryer) with everything he ciuld have needed and spotlessly clean. The decor looked new, possibly just well maintained. Staff very friendly, gave us the room for a good weekly rate, great location just 5 minutes drive from Downtown. Would definitely return to this hotel.

  When we arrived Christy Zheng greeted us. She was professional and covered off all the information we needed to know and sent us off to our room in an efficient manner. When we got to the room I found that it was clean and bed seemed nice as well as I noticed that the towels were newer.   We had a corner room with two windows and a balcony overlooking the inner harbor. The room was lovely with plenty of space and the bed was comfortable. The staff was also helpful and friendly. And the location -- harborside -- was perfect. A short walk along the water takes you into town, or you could ask the concierge for a complimentary ride. With the excellent shuttle service to take you to and from the hotel, and the many activities included in the hotel, and the included day outing to Duncan, we were able to do and see much more than if we had had to take transit or taxis. I have never witnessed a hot - My husband and I got an upgrade to our room --- which was a kitchen -- we were staying for a few days so it worked out great and we appreciated the upgrade. Easy to get around --- liked the layout of the facility --- lots of character and everything easy to use --- also appreciated all the items in the gift shop --- staff was great -- very friendly.   The staff were so helpful and friendly!! I've never had service that exceptional. I had looked at the pictures online but in person I was still pleasantly surprised by just how nice the hotel was. Not just our rooms but the front, the lobby, hallways...everything was updated and beautiful. The towels were so fluffy! The location was very centralised to all that we needed to do in Victoria. The living room, the bedrooms and the balcony all offer exquisite views of the harbour. An excellent choice & will definitely be staying agin. Every aspect of downtown Victoria were in walking distance for us (as its a busy town with limited parking). I recommended this hotel to all my friends & family for furure stays. You won't be disapointed

  This motel is a great deal. While the building is a little old, it's well maintained and very clean with comfortable beds/pillows. Definitely our choice of places to stay when we visit Victoria.   The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was great for someone with allergies, because there is no carpet, only nice flooring. Lots of room for a large family, we had kids and grand kids with us! Kitchen area and full size fridge was very helpful. One story units made it nice with little kids. Full size table was great - Staff was very helpful and friendly. We had reserved a suite and got more than expected: three bedrooms, full kitchen, living room and dining room. We were three adults, one 9 year old and one thirteen year old, so it worked well for us. It is an easy 15 min. out of the city of Victoria, with a grocery 2 min. away, so was convenient for us. Good place for a multiple night stay. Highly recommend it.
