  The staff were very helpful with any number of things; aiding with parking a vehicle, expediting check-in/check-out procedures, and recommending great restaurants and attractions in the area. The hotel lobby and common areas were very tastefully decorated and the rooms were comfortable, although a bit small and some areas seemed a bit dingy. Overa... vad folk säger » ll, though, it was a great value and the rooms were certainly sufficient for a visit which allowed us to enjoy the best parts of Vieux Quebec. The loc - We got one of the 5th floor rooms, which meant it was really quiet. It also meant 5 flights of narrow stairs. Of course, since it's a historical building (like much of Quebec City) building codes prevent the addition of elevators, so this is par for the course. Beautifully reno'd room and bathroom, though the ceiling was a bit low due to the angle of the roof. Close to lots of nearby shopping and restaurants in the old city (and the lower old city, too, which was a bit cheaper).

  Fräscht hotell med trendig och modern inredning. Fantastiskt bra läge i centrum. - The staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were contemporary, cleanand with everything you need.   What is there to say about the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. The place is pure luxury and is a tourist attraction in it's own right!!! Of course you pay for the privilege of staying there but l had to do it once and now l have every intention of doing it again. Staff are magnificent....they should all take a bow!! There were renovations going on ... vad folk säger » whilst we stayed there and some scaffolding over our window (inevitable in an old building which must be maintained) but they kindly gave us a complie - sheets on comforter so I feel clean in room--this is critically important recycling in room warm pool friendly check-in competent concierge gorgeous facility warm pool!!!!   It was clean, quaint, very comfortable, near all major attractions, there was a coffee machine in the room, an ironing board, an iron, a hair dryer.. - Close proximity to everything. Room was great for one person, very clean, bathroom great size. Hotel staff very helpful. Prompt service.

  Quebec is such a lovely old city, and staying in this charming B&B complemented the old-world atmosphere perfectly! Stepping inside the hotel, and on into the room, is like taking a step back in time, only with all modern-day comforts provided. We truly felt at home staying here (or, more accurately, dream home!). The breakfast area is quite picturesque (eve - Hotel is small, more a B&B. Charming old house dating back to 1800's. Filled with Victoriana. Room was quite small with small bathroom, t.v., etc. But furnishings really interesting. Everything spotlessly clean and room comfortable. Very good and ample continental breakfast. Location very good for Dufferin Terrace, rue St. Louis and shops, restaurants, etc. They recommended Cafe de la Paix, 5 minutes' walk, very good. Language no problem. Parking is offsite, 2-minute walk away.

  The staff made our stay very pleasurable. They were very courteous, attended to our requests, always willing to give us information and assistance with directions, restaurants, etc. The location was the best--- right in the heart of the old city. Our room, while small, was engineered more than it was designed: every practical convenience placed right where it would be needed. Our room had recently been renovated and was really nice. - The location was excellent, certainly what your website stated. I tend to rely on other visitor comments and found them to be very helpful. I do not have one negative thing to say about the stay and the staff were very friendly and after a long night of travelling accomodated us immediately with a room, which was a very pleasant surprise.

  The history and architecture of the building was amazing. The building was a lovely mix of historic features and modern amenities. The location is unbeatable. The complim... vad folk säger » entary room upgrade was a lovely surprise and made the stay that much more memorable. - I loved being in a historical building and yet all modern amenities were at my fingertips I liked having a valet because parking was an issue and understandably so in such a rich historical city. .Most importantly, the hostess unexpectedly, upgraded our room to the loft and I thought I was in heaven. I have never stayed in such a luxurious suite. I didn't want to get out of the bed in the morning. Merci bien!

  The location is perfect. It is located in the center of the old Quebec and is normally 5 minutes walking to everything. I like the stylish and cozy decoration of the hotel sitting room and dinning room. Also, the microwave in the dinning room allowed me to eat some supermarket food which saved me some budget for shopping. Also, the hotel provide free 2-hour bike renting which I found great (although I did not have the confidence to try - - Perfect ocation in the Old Town close to Chateau Frontenac, 20 mins walk from the train station - Room was warm enough at -26'C outside - Good WiFi reception in the room; - Was offered a free upgrade to a bigger room; - Can see the castle from the backyard-overlooking rooms; - Nice and comfortable public area downstairs
