  Our experience at Port-Royal was fantastic! We were welcomed by reception staff, very nice (yes in English), our room was very large, separate bedroom, large kitchen area, full kitchen & large table & chairs...would be perfect for a family, as there is a full sofa in living area.( Room 202) There is an elevator for those who can't handle s... vad folk säger » tairs, nice size hotel, not too big, so it is very charming. Alex, the manager of the dining area, runs a delightful place to eat! The quality of food - Port Royal is a fantastic hotel located in the heart of basse-ville (lower town). Our room 105 had original stones and wood beams dating from 1700´s. BEd is very comfortable, room decór is sooting and chic (shantung curtains, ceiling painted in grey-brown). Bedroom has a built in kithchenette very convenient. Hotel bar is really cool too. I would totally recommend future guests to head to local Quebec boulangerie named Paillard centrally located in Rue St Jean in Haute-ville (5min walt). Their

  Excellent value for money, especially if you're travelling with kids. Located just across the Quebec side of the Quebec bridge. The hotel is far from busy downtown life (10 mins. by car), but if you're travelling by car anyway, it's the perfect location. The rooms were big and well-kept.   I was worried by some of the recent reviews, but my room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is typical for a hotel continental breakfast.   I enjoyed use of the hot tub, though the hot tub could have been on a warmer temperature. Interestingly, maybe you folks up in Quebec can handle cold better than heat, I just left it at that. - The staff was very friendly, and the English speaking staff were eager to help the French speaking staff while communicating with us.

  The staff members were fantastic. They attended to you whenever requested. The views in the rooms are excellent. The pool and workout room were incredible. It is a very trendy hotel and a great price. The room service was not expensive and was great. - The most beautiful and comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in.

  It is a nice place to be, and the hotel is not far from the city. We always drove and parked in the city and walked all the streets. - the car was right outside our door the staff helped so quickly with problems with our email. Over-all friendly. Lovely breakfast!

  Warm,friendly, helpful staff that were understandably proud of their lovely city. So appreciative of the folks at the Front Desk. Their tips on scheduling enabled us to catch wonderful outdoor performances that we would have missed if we hadn't known to make a point of seeing them on our first day of arrival. - Everything!   What is there to say about the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. The place is pure luxury and is a tourist attraction in it's own right!!! Of course you pay for the privilege of staying there but l had to do it once and now l have every intention of doing it again. Staff are magnificent....they should all take a bow!!   It was clean, quaint, very comfortable, near all major attractions, there was a coffee machine in the room, an ironing board, an iron, a hair dryer.. - Close proximity to everything. Room was great for one person, very clean, bathroom great size. Hotel staff very helpful. Prompt service.
