  James (the manager) was amazing and very helpful! He was very knowledgable about where to get a quick lunch and where to hike. The food at their restaurant was top notch and very delicious! The property and cabins are very well maintained. Very relaxing to sit on the porch reclining wooden chairs and kick back. Very nice to sit by th - The dinner we had at the lodge was excellent...very different and interesing combinations. The included breakfast was equally yummy with lots of choices. The room was very comfortable and sitting out on the verandah in the comfy chairs was so relaxing and peaceful. Loved the location along the river and away from the hustle and bustle.

  We let us have a lake-side room so we enjoyed a very nice view of a lake and mountains. There is a railway across from the lake. There are relatively lots of long trains running all the time including early in the morning and late in the night, which we enjoyed watching but could be annoyance for those of who don't like trains. - Good for an over... vad folk säger » night stay. Its out of town beside highway - plenty of parking. Very earlier ski lodge atmosphere. Room clean, large staff friendly. Good Breakfast - self serve. & restaurant meal very good. this is a simple honest lodge & worked well for an o'night stay.

  Beautiful setting - our room had a deck with a wonderful view. Nice furnishings, wonderful fireplace - very comfortable and secluded! The food at the lodge was very good - all service was outstanding - porters, shuttle, wait staff - all very friendly & accommodating. Whatever we requested, we got! The Lodge sits right on the lake nestled in the mountai - Emerald Lake Lodge is one of the most amazing places I have ever been. My husband and I went there to celebrate our 10th anniversary and it was absolutely stunning and it looks exactly how the pictures show it does. It is in the middle of no where, but close to many great gems to explore. The room was perfect for two and we LOVED the real fireplace! The food was decadently delicious!   Setting and accommodation was perfect for us. Field is a tiny place and very quiet set on the valley floor in the Rockies with spectacular views of the mountains. The accommodation is roomy with all amenities and extremely clean. The owner, Luc, was very friendly and gave us some good tips on places to visit. We can recommend Truffle Pigs - the re... vad folk säger » staurant in the village but it can be busy so it is advisable to make a reservation. A bonus is that the Canadian Pacific railroad passes close by and - Excellent accommodation - exceptionally clean and comfortable. Luc was a superb host and helped with planning our days out. Field is an attractive small town - take advantage of the talks/tours provided by 'Friends of Yoho'. We had an informative walking tour of the town.
