  We were stopping for the night on our way back to Ontario from Halifax. The staff were very accommodating for non-french speaking patrons which was appreciated. The room was large, very clean and comfortable. Looks like a very nice property! We would definitely stay here again. - friendly check in even though we were late! Pet friendly.   The place was a treat to stay at. The proprietor and his family made everyone welcome. His staff were fun and one of them shared English and French lessons with us. The food was excellent and prepared by the proprietor who is a wonderful chef. The rooms were beautiful. Our host prepared an amazing dinner and delightful breakfast. The whole family made us feel well cared for. We only wish we could have stayed longer.
