  The building is very beautiful, as is the town of Mechelen. The location is great, 10-minute walk to the train station and close to restaurants and shops etc. The rooms are stunning, spacious and clean. The beds are extremely big and comfy. The staff were such a massive help with any queries we had and were super friendly. Gorgeous converted church with original altar in the dining area combining historic and modern architecture seamlessly. Well stocked breakfast area including champagne. Room was on the top floor in the chapel with a window looking on the large stained glass rose window.

  Having tried many hotels in Mechelen, and needing to stay when a conference was one, I booked this hotel. I arrived late in the evening, but my key and paperwork were ready, so I was able to nip into the dining room before it closed. The menu is small, but has some unusual items to try.   We were instantly felt welcome by the friendly accommodating staff. The breakfast the following morning was of good quality and served in our room provided a lot more privacy - great when travelling with children.
