It felt like a home away from home. Everything from the front gate to the room were welcoming. The 'Spires' was an incredible place to stay, plenty of space, beautiful decor, space age air conditioning! ... vad folk säger » up, why would anyone choose to stay anywhere else? - We stayed in one of the larger rooms, which is like a suite. Very spacious, large bed, large lounche with plasma TV, etc. The bathroom is contemorary with walk in shower. Nice practical kitchenette with excellent coffe maker. In the morning Croissants are hanging outside on the door. The kichen has everything for a cosy breakfast in bed: orange juice, cheese, jam, chocolate spread, yoghouts, etc.

This Hotel was in absolutely the perfect location. The quality and charm of the building and rooms was really something to be in awe of. We wanted something with charm and the attention to detail was amazing in the 16th century old building. The beds were comfortable and it was amazing to share a wall with the historic cathedral. -

It will not be for you if you like your mod cons, but I found it wonderfully comfortable and refreshingly simple. Plus of course, it is simply beautiful.
