  Highly recommend this B&B the owners were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay, Alain is a mind of information about the local area and recommended an excellent restaurant on our first night, the breakfast was wonderful too.   Great location, only 10 minutes from Ypres and a great spot for visiting various sights in Flanders. Very friendly staff/owners who provided a great breakfast in the morning, even cooked a fresh omelette for us. Nice quiet rooms away from the hustle and bustle of the city which was very relaxing.   The owners are friendly, professional, attentive, and helpful. The accommodation has been newly built in a residential area as a B&B business in the countryside and is clean, comfortable and fit for purpose. The venue is extremely well placed for visits to WWI graves and related sites and the owner is a tour guide specialising in local WWI his... vad folk säger » tory. The breakfast is more than adequate. Overall the facilities are very highly highly commended. - The Aphrodite B& B was of 5 star standard with spacious rooms furnished to an exceptionally high standard. The host Heidi & Dirk were superb and most welcoming. The breakfasts were wonderful and would keep us going for the day. We would definitely stay there again. Ideally located for Ieper and the battlefields of the First World War. Dirk is a first class guide to the area.

  Marc and Sonja are a very friendly couple and nothing is too much trouble to make your stay enjoyable. We had a problem with our car during our stay and they helped us tremendously - making phone calls to garages, driving us to collect the car and lending us bikes to use. Given that it was also the begining of a two week holiday in Belgium and man... vad folk säger » y places were closed we cannot thank them enough for their help and concern. The B&B is bright, clean and airy and you have the use of a fridge an - Sat nav co-ordinates worked perfect to reach B & B. I had informed of a very early arrival to Sonia, owner and if we could leave our bags and use a loo etc. She was brilliant and as the room was available she had got it ready as we arrived at 09 30 hrs. Mark* her husband spent quite some time with us to outline numerous places of interest concerned with WW1 fields and wrote down a detailed list of proposed sights to view. they were both very welcoming and made us feel easy to move around. Our priorities are comfy beds, clean bathrooms, free wifi and free parking, and a delicious breakfast, and the Amaryllis had all this plus more courtesy of genial host Andre (a great ambassador for Belgium) who took a personal interest in making our stay enjoyable and worthwhile Our days were spent traipsing the countryside... vad folk säger » checking out the WW1 sites connected with a number of family members, and of past students of my school who never returned, and this meant a lot to u - This establishment is a must stay for those wishing to visit Ypres & the surrounding area.The Host Andre was most helpful & met all our needs & went out of his way to make our stay so enjoyable.The accomadation was quite spacious & clean,with a brilliant shower'A Breakfast of Boiled Eggs,Ham & Cheese was available together with Rolls,Bread & Cereals.Well Done Andre.Ron&Jackie
