We also enjoyed the lovely little restaurant which was always welcoming and warm with a good menu for children and adults. The location was also good, if you were driving, as it gave easy access to the big freeways.

Don't normally return to a location already experienced, but would do in this case. Staff were also very helpful, friendly and polite. The hotel has a terrace for afternoon and evening dining as well as the internal restaurant. - Absolutely gorgeous location on the outskirts of Salzburg, with a superb view of the Untersberg. A very upscale traditional gasthof, with large beautiful rooms and an impressive array of restaurant facilities - lots of marble, nice woods, etc. Staff are very friendly and accommodating, with most fluent in English as well as German (and probably several other languages, too).

  Great location just out of Salzburg. If you're not traveling by car it could be a bit out of the way. We're in the area quite often so we have no issues with driving into town so it wasn't an issue. Check for public transportation if you're taking the train into town.   Trevlig personal - The breakfast was excellent as was the food in the restaurant. our room was very large, quite and extremely clean.   Stayed a number of times, always good. Rooms excellent, breakfast as god as anywhere. Just wish it was easier to get all expenses on the room bill, staff seem reluctant to do this.
