  Very friendly and helpful hosts. I walked from the nearby football field and saw the horses first. House took me a bit of time to - Very nice B&B. We had two rooms of 3, both with balconies with views of the mountains. Rooms were large enough and beds were comfortable. Good shower. Adrian and Jillian were wonderful hosts. They were very helpful in planning our stay. It's in Obertraun which is a 3 minute ride to Hallstat so total access to the entire area. I would highly recommend the 45 minute walk from Rye Haus along the beautiful river with the mountains all around you to a 5 Star restaurant. Best meal we had in our 2

  Serene location, historic Hallstatt a brisk 30 minute walk, spacious lodging, a hearty restaurant 3 minutes away, and the excellent value. Please note that event though I rated the Facilities and Comfort only as "Good", they were absolutely adequate to our needs we are without any complaints. Great for families, because of the animals, playground and games. Close to many attractions for families. Extremely clean and well outfitted apartment.   Everything is perfect! The house was decorated very well. It's inviting and cozy. The kitchen is fully-equipped. There are good stoves, pots and a coffee maker. It's like a home. The staff is really helpful and warm-hearted. She offered us some information about this town. In the living room and bedroom we can see a nice view from the window. Elisabeth, the owner of Apt. make trip so easy for us, she is a great host. It felt us that we stay at our own house. Its clean and warm. Probably staying at Obertraun is better then hallstatt which is less touristic and more close to Mt. Dachstein.

  The best thing about this place is definitely the hosts and their hospitality. They make every effort to make your experience feel like home. The rooms are tastefully furnished. Everything that you may happen to need during your stay is already there. There is parking on the grounds and location is bit secluded and away from the lake but beautiful... vad folk säger » . Traun river flows close by and offers a nice chance to cycle or a walk along the river. Free bike hire from the hosts itself is a big plus. - The facility had a lot of "ginger-bread" options. Nothing was lacking! Our room was extremely comfortable with a sink and mirror in it. We also had an extremely we-stocked kitchen/dining room and very nice private bathroom across the hall. The Host and Hostess were extremely gracious! Their home is within 1.5 km of Halstatt but outside the bustle of town. We loved it and would consider going back for a more extended stay!

  Abel and Bertie are a dutch couple, who have lived in, and run ,Haus Marie, for about 5 years.They clearly like the area , and gave us all sorts of ideas for outings. Obertraun is away from the main tourist rush, with a variety of lovely old houses. The house owner offered us attentive help (print of local maps, suggestion on walking route )and considarate service (the breakfast is best one on our whole trip, thankfully, the warm water for drinking, which is so important for Chinese ), Everything makes us feel at home .

  Very cozy residence! We stayed here for 1 week in July with my kid of 4 years old. It was very comfortable for us 3 to cook and eat and it was very convenient to do many activities around there. We want to visit it again! - The bed is very comfortable, and it is the most comfortable bed in all my trip in Czech and Austria; the house has everything you need for cooking, although I don't have any materials since the supermarket is closed when Saturday and Sunday. It is very close to the bus station, and train station, only 1 min walking distance.
