The kitchen facilities were amazing an it was very central for everything we needed to do! The free breakfast is also nice, nothing fancy but it's satisfying and yum! It was also safe, and not too loud. I am a mature person and the staff was friendly the place was clean and it was a pleasure staying there and I will recommend it anytime to my friends Thank You all Staff for making my stay a good one.
alla recensioner » Great location in Northbridge. It's really good that the wifi and computers are so easily accessible. The room was a good size and the lockers were great for all my stuff. Its in a Great position close to the blue cat bus route,which is a regular service into the city. Good value for money and clean. A Great place to stay. Allowed me to check in really early; they have the best free breakfast of any hostel I have ever stated in;. Pls check I had paid by your internet. Why they said that I have not to pay? Gary. I choosen this hostel only for the very good location; no wifi, internet is quite expensive; breakfast was sufficient but kitchen is a little dirty; the staff was gentle and correct: I booked 3 nights but left after the first having found a passage to the north, they have given me back the money already paid. I liked that the hostel was clean and close to the city center. Range of available services provided by the facility. Location. It's expensive enough they could provide free wifi for what they are charging for a dorm room. They use the card door lock system which means doors cannot be closed quietly. The television room stinks of stale cigarette smoke. The shared 4 person room was like an oven. Far too hot for a warm climate. breakfast. toomany cars!! . Key to get into toilet. '""my last night ...shared the dorm with A snorer,,,. Had to pay for the Internet and there wasn't any wifi, only computers and they were quite expensive. Lots of cereals in the morning for breakfast but no milk included. A bit noisy at night as people were going and coming back from nightclubs. Noisy at night. The swimming pool was never open, some of the Staff were not very helpfull. The "De Luxe" room was small and cramped no room except for bed. Had to pay for wifi, rooms too hot to sleep. Advertised amenities were absent - TV and DVD player in room etc. Bathrooms could be cleaner. Very noisy - both due to people (coming home very late at night) and general design - noise carried through. Some staff were very nice, others very "rough". I was in a room of 10 with some girls who live there for months, so very messy and dirty, they made a lot of noise at night. Didnt like one member of staff behind the reception, he was pretty sharp with me when I enguired if crockey was supplied. Thought for $33 it wasnt good value for money as there is no lift and I had to carry my luagage up 3 flights of stairs. The room was also small and I found it extremely hard to climb in and out of my top bunk. I requested ann all girls room and I was the only female. Also there was a boy having sex in the room at 4am. Lack of recycling facilities - non-existent. Most people don't give this a thought but it's something I feel is very important. Some locations are very good and show a responsibility towards waste management. The bathroom facilities were often unclean. Not necessarily the fault of management but some people are incapable of reading signs! I don't believe the bedding was changed before my final stay as the sheets had a number of long dark hairs on them. Definitely not mine!. Cramped sleeping quarters. Ought have supplied locked cupboards or at least padlocks. Revellers' noise late in night. Dilapidated shower facilities- no seat in one, no hanger in the other. And, as I couldn't leave my gear in the bedroom due to no locked cupboard, it was a nightmare trying to have a shower & keep me stuff dry - really annoying. (Extremely unreliable taxi service) Usual lousy customer service, but that's a WA-wide phenomenon.
