  Great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were also great and I like that the place was surrounded with lots of trees and gardens so that staying there was very relaxing and laid back - very similar to the Darwin vibe.   Staff where very friendly and great atmosphere, not noisy atall considering location and great value for money - My room was quiet and cool. The pool was great The layout gave many options for places to relax etc.

  Vintina is a great place to stay in Darwin. It is close to the CBD and also mindil beach and markets. The room are very clean and modern. The pool and BBQ area are great.   The reception staff is the best. I forgot her name but she was excellent. Very efficient and friendly. Made sure I never missed anything including the pick up taxi even though she wasn't on duty. Rooms were maintained daily with fresh towels as required. It had a pool for relaxation. I look forward to returning in the future and would recommend it to anyone.

  Melaluca on Mitchell is located in the heart of Darwin and is right across from Coles. It's surrounded by great pubs and restaurants. I booked a double bed accessible room with my own ensuite and the room was great value for money and fully accessible. I also loved that the aircon was so loud it blocked out most of the noise!   The service was excellent. Seb on the front desk is a proper local who is wise in the ways of all! My door swipe card was causing me probs after a very long flight, seb cheerfully showed me how to use the swipe card. Most people wouldnt have made such an effort. I was impressed how he remembered my name the next day, a small detail but given the amount of guests that pass thru, this is just a - As the name suggests it was a "Value Inn." It provided basic accommodation. The location was excellent being right in the centre of the CBD of Darwin. If you want cheap, reasonable accommodation then this is the hotel for you. If you are looking for four star quality, then go somewhere else.

  Loved teh new part, but next time we want to stay on a ground floor apartment of the new lagoon area. Our Kids really enjoyed it.   My husband & I plus our 24 year old daughter stayed at Palms Motel for 2 nights while attending a family wedding in Darwin. We had a family room which was very spacious and very clean. The aircon was reasonably quiet and very efficient. The beds were extremely comfortable too. It was quiet and in a great location close to everything.   The proprietors were outstanding. We arrived having lost the use of our credit card as it had been cancelled due to online fraud. Our debit card turned out to be out of date. We were in the embarrassing situation of not being able to pay short of doing a direct bank transfer. The owner said "don't worry, when you get back to Tasmania, get in touch... vad folk säger » with us and let us know your new credit card number". He showed amazing trust. He also promptly phoned the taxi company to ensure we would not miss o - Great room with fridge so you can prepare your own meals if on a budget!
