  Being a hostel i was expecting a rough stay but I was really surprised by this place. Overall we had a lovely stay here and would have happily stayed longer. The room was nice and big. the beds were very comfortable. The gardens were fabulous, beautifully landscaped with nice tropical trees, a small stream etc. The pool was a great plus. It had an en-suite bathroom and a - Was very impressed by this so called hostel, was more like an apartment with all the room we had and the individual houses were really picturess. Staff even lent us hair straightners and a dryer. Would definitely go back again!

  We had a private room and it was REALLY private - not like in other hostels where you share a paper wall with neighbours. The hostel looks a little like a motel but it is clean and peacfull and on the main street.   Everything is close. The backpacker is more like a villa. Stayed in a double room, was very good and spacious. There's a calm bar inside. Left my bag there after check out without problem. - The hostel was very clean and spacious. We were on an 8 bed dorm and it was fantastic with great facilities.   Very good location (just in front of the lagoon, on the main street), very good value for money.   Very friendly staff, especially Peter is very friendly and helped me a lot with booking my trips. Cheap bar on the terrace, pool, lawn, hammocks, pool table and big screen with DVDs. Every evening there is a quiz which is really nice to meet new people. Very big, clean kitchen. Bathroom was alright. Best hostel I stayed in so far in Australia! - This hostel was the best we have stayed in in Australia by far. All the staff are really genuinely friendly and engage with all the guests. It is small enough to know everyones face but big enough to allow you privacy to relax and read a book. It is just out of town( about 3 mins walk) which was perfect for us. Really chilled out and nice bar.
