  A cosy place with the most amazing spa: Jaccuzzis, hot pool, steamroom, sauna, massage etc., all situated in a forest-like environment. Exellent breakfast. Gonna take my wife there, ALONE. - It was nice, we enjoyed our stay. Most of the time we went out for tours. Staff was very friendly.

  what a beautiful house! I stayed there for 2 days with my wife.   Nice heated pool. Game room with pool table. It has a very cool library. Breakfast was continental with homemade flavored bread. - Gret location just 100 meters to the centre, GREAT breakfast, all in all great place to stay.

  Superb staff - helpful and very friendly. A great place to get to know this little-known town. Beautiful views, spacious, comfortable rooms. Free shuttle into the town, only after 2pm. - Staff were really kind, friendly and helpful.

  The host was wonderful and very helpful with recommendations for things to do in the area. She also told us about an excellent restaurant. The room is clean and comfortable, everything is modern and looks new. The kitchen area was useful (especially when one evening we wanted to eat something else than lamb/beef). The location is very good (just... vad folk säger » across the street from the visitor center, 5-10 min from the bus station). I would recommend this place to anyone. - The person who received us in the hotel was very nice and helpful. The installations were adequate for the price, the internet was surprisingly fast, and the satellite television offered an enormous number of channels. The location is also very good, close enough to the main strip so everything could be done on foot, but far enough so we wouldn't be bothered by the crowds that fill the city center.

  We are a couple from Mexico in our fisrt trip to Calafate. We found Hosteria Meulen wonderful and clean. Hostesses were very nice and always worried about our satisfaction.   We spent 2 nights in El Calafate, wished could have stayed longer to extend the stay at La Cantera. Service was perfect, Giorgina in particular made our stay soo easy, smooth and hassle free that made us happy to be there. The tours organised through the hotel were cheaper than those we had researched online. Thanks!

  Accommodation was more than adequate. We were sharing with daughter and son-in-law and we were pleased with the space and equipment (except kitchen equipment - see below). Having breakfast delivered daily at or about the time specified was a real bonus.   I must say this hotel could not of been better as far as taking care of us. When we needed extra nights they worked hard to let us stay in our same room. The last night we had to move across the street and they let us walk over and still enjoy their fabulous breakfast!!! They made sure my husband had Gluten free as well.   The hotel locates at the end of the main street and took me less than 10 minute walk from the hotel to the town centre. Even so, the location did not cause any problem because (1) there were supermarket, small shops, restaurant, fast food stores next to or opposite to the hotel; and (2) all local tours offered hotel pick-up and drop-off services.... vad folk säger » The room was spacious, clean and tidy. The wifi was weak a little bit at our room but the connection was strong at reception and common area. The sta - Spacious room, big comfortable bed, nice little balcony with lake views, friendly helpful staff, nice breakfast, good common areas, good wifi. The service was excellent - we accidentally dropped a bottle of white wine on the floor and it smashed and wine went everywhere - they sent someone to clean it up straight away. The reception staff also booked a Minitrek tour of the glacier for us after we tried unsuccessfully to get a response ourselves from the company running the tour (Hielo Aventura)

  Very nice and willing personel, what more they spoke fluently english which is not very common in argentina. Hotel was well situated, nice and clean room and also quite. Hotel is situated on the oppsite side of the main street (you just walk all in all not more then hundred meters and you are on the main street). Really regret I had to leave after... vad folk säger » staying a one night (moving to another destination of my argentinina trip) - Very friendly staff , very good atmosphere feels like a home. Very nice to come back after a long day of hiking to a place like that. The rooms are not big, but they are enough. There is a lot of sitting areas in the lobby, cozy. Was fun having coffee on a comfy sofa every day. The location is excellent, everything is nearby, if we ever go back to el calafate this will be our first choice.
