  This is one of the best vacation hotels I've ever stayed in and the first to be a green hotel!! Beautiful setting butted up to mountains and river, clean and tastefully decorated, owners were so friendly and helpful! The reasonable rates are why I will bring my family again next year!   Because I was arriving fairly late, the receptionist called on my cell to see where I was en route and when I might arrive. When it appeared that I wouldn't arrive before they closed the desk for the night, she offered to leave my room unlocked, with the key inside and allow me to register in the morning. The air conditioner/heat was a little noisy and took awhile to warm the room, but did - Fantastic location, very friendly staff. Rooms are clean and pleasant. Owner Lori was very nice and attentive of our needs. Would rate this at the highest level of satisfaction and would recommend this to any one staying in Ouray.
