The hotel was close to everything. The beach is 1/2 a mile away. Another direction you have an outlet mall and stores such as Walmart. Then another direction are resurants and Von's. The decor was nothing out of the ordinary. We will be staying there whenever we travel to the coast. -

For a motor inn, this place is dazzling! Talk about a good value - for
$129 on a Saturday night, we got a corner suite overlooking the pool.
The suite was very large - I'm guessing about 600 sq ft - and the
balcony (on a corner with pool view) was about 65 sq ft. There was also

We were so pleasantly surprised! The grounds were just beautiful and close to everything we wanted to do. The staff was very cordial and accommodating and breakfast was good...especially for the price, although didn't have eggs which is always nice, but not necessary. Overall, it was a great experience.

The staff was very helpful. They offered to turn the waterfall into the hot tub on ealry and let us stay in the pool after it closed. They also welcomed us to eat the continental breakfast early so we could get an early start to our day. We were given maps of the area and great recomendations on where to eat. Breakfast was good. Ocean Palms is the best kept secret in Pismo Beach! We loved everything about it!
The management was friendly, the rooms have been updated and are comfortable, immaculate, nicely decorated with all new furniture and a great mini fridge, microwave and small coffee pot. Pool is heated and well kept.

Pismo Beach is great and so is the motel. The location is very close to
downtown and about five minutes from the beach (on foot). The
neighborhood and the surrounding streets are quit, at least at night
when they should be...There is a little swimming pool, however you
better go to the fabulous beach. The rooms are clean and everything in
good condition, the equipment is fair if you do not plan to stay for a

Staff treated us like royalty. It was our 39th anniversary and they had a bottle of Presecco and 2 wine glasses in addition to a Happy Anniversay card signed by all the staff in our room when we arrived. Kelsi at the front desk made great recomendations for restaurants and wineries. Our room overlooked the ocean front and was delightful with the ocean breeze and ocean sounds. It was a memorable weekend.

The room was well cleaned, no stink, it was likeing walking in to a brand new room. The staff was helpful and provided us acces to their microwave. The handicap rooms did not have the small refrigerator / microwave combo. So when you make a RSVP ask for a room with the frig/ microwave combo. That was the only downfall but the staff helped us out which made up for it. Found a new hotel that is also pet friendly. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

1) Amazing view! Sits on a cliff overlooking the coastline
2) Gazebo area is an amazing area for pictures and to take in the views of the pier on the left and the rocky cliffs on the right
3) Staff was very friendly, I was not happy with the partial ocean view room so after a few room changes we settled in with a very nice view
4) Continental breakfast is actually a decent breakfast - bread eggs pancakes juices coffee danish etc.
5) Great place to go with family or as a couple.

Perfect location - on the beach and just about as close as you're going to get to the Pier and the main downtown spots. Great having designated parking and the ability to walk to all the restaurants/bars/shops.

great room with comfy bed and balcony overlooking the beach and boardwalk so lots to see.
was able to turn off the a/c and have the door open on the balcony so had the ocean lull us to sleep. Good complimentary breakfast with quite a bit of choice which surprised us as we thought it would only be coffee and pastries.

Great place! During our 3-week trip we had mostly stayed in very budget-friendly places, so this spacious appartment was a really nice treat. The location was great - just minutes from the beach, in a nice and quiet neighbourhood. First kitchen where we actually had dishes and pots and pans to cook with. Would have wanted to stay there longer. -

Best price around that area and my first visit. I enjoyed the comfortable beds, quiet room and friendly staff! The bathroom was clean and linens were packed with a new material that did not affect my allergies (no headaches) like down linen has caused at other hotels in the past.
Slept well and I will be back!
