The Bulls Head Lodge was perfectly situated in the lovely suburb of Hale, with access to Manchester Airport in less than 10 minutes. It is a traditional pub, with the hotel accommodation in a self-contained annex, and ample parking. There are pleasant views from the rooms across the bowling green. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with good facilities and excellent showers. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Very reasonably price

I booked Alderley Edge as a present for our parents Golden Wedding and 70th birthday celebration. They were going to RHS flower show at Tatton Park so the hotel was a perfect 'base'. My parents had a lovely room at the front of the Hotel (which was quieter) and the staff couldn't do enough for them. A card was provided from the Hotel which my parents greatly appreciated. In organising the weekend the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend this hotel!

Muriel was extremely helpful as my daughter was staying at the local hospital. She made every effort for my stay to be as easy as possible, even leaving the keys at the hospital for me to collect from there. She has a lot of guests who stay to be close by the Abbey Pines so can give lots of advice for visitors! -

Lovely room with a superbly comfortable bed and really safe and convenient location. The breakfast was amazing and the hosts are friendly and helpful - I accidentally interrupted their dinner (was a late check in) and they still helped me get oriented towards where to find dinner for myself, with no rush or making feel uncomfortable. What an amazing place Ian & his partner have created!!! Stayed in the merlin suite, totally magical. Next time we book we will stay in the Camelot suite & bring are two teenage boys. Owner was so helpful and friendly. the character of the Camelot Suite is unsurpassed and is truly unique with its charm and cosy vibe. the whole family truly enjoyed the experience. it is 100 metres from the village so the shops, banks, bars are all walking distance

I liked the simple and elegant decor of my room. The guest house is charming, quite clean and well cared for. Tony struck an almost ideal balance between being available and unobtrusive. I liked the fact that I could be in Manchester city centre via tram within approximately 30 mins. I had a lovely, comfortable stay and would certainly recommend Cornerstones to anyone who needs temporary accommodations in/near Manchester.
