It was simply gorgeous staying in a beautifully renovated 300 year old Ottoman house. We loved the hosts (Umran & Erhan) who were friendly, caring, generous, hospitable and very kind. A lovely town and a beautiful place to stay. Though the hotel is a bit far from the old town, its located in a beautiful historic area and Erhan and Umran were so kind in providing transportation. The breakfast they served was truly fabulous; Erhan keeps a garden and green house and a few chickens. The eggs had been layed that morning. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They always carry a big smile on their faces. Selvili Kosk is a very typical Ottoman style Antique house. Don't expect a luxury stay at a house like this but enjoy the uniqueness of it. Beautiful town full of nice people. UNESCO picked the right place to protect. -

Excellent!. If you would like to stay in a historical guest house at Sanfranbolu, that is the choice! it is very beautiful! And don't forget to take photo at the garden! The hotel is located in a quite corner ( but very close to the Carsi [ center square] . The owner is very nice, and breakfast is good as well, especially the home made jams. Love it:-)

Perfect location, very clean and quiet, and most of all, really very nice. The old ottoman ambience is very pleasant and everithing is carefully taken care. We were 2 couples, and had two double rooms at the second floor, one of them had a wonderful view on the Safranbolu city, but both were very nice and spacious rooms. Breakfast is rich and very Turkish, and the view from the terrace is beautiful. Very good value for money
