We really enjoyed our stay at the Ao Nang Homestay. The reservation was
made at quite short notice so we appreciated Mr Chang's (the owner)
very prompt and helpful replies to our emails. The room was very
comfortable with a/c and good wifi connection. The small fridge in
the room was very handy and the complimentary water and tea/coffee

The Homestay is a little out of town, but we preferred this -
Everything was very good. Very nice and helpfull owner. He picked up us from the airport. Rooms are quite small, but comfortable with AC and nice bethroom. There are equiped also with TV, frigde and set to making a tea or coffee. 1 minute from this hotel is very good restaurant with breakfast and dinner. I could recommend it, the food was awsome and quite cheap. They served very good seafood. There is also 7-11 very close, so I think is a big plus. To beach is about 15 minutes walk.

We stayed here for 6 nights. The villa is well equipped and spacious. Location is peaceful, 5 minutes drive from Aonang beach, but having a free tuk tuk on call (a free mobile phone for making local calls is provided) this is really not an issue. Nice place to stay with family or group of friends. They provide you
handphone (Thai number) so u can easily call the hotel to get Tuk Tuk.
The villa are complete include washing machine, cooking set and wifi.

Really loved this place. Chatchada (the owner) and Andy (the manager) are fantastic. It was like staying with family. Chatchada was always happy and smiling and was so helpful with any requests that we had. Andy was a great friendly Aussie, who was always laughing and joking.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Charlie speaks perfect English, which is also helpful.
The hotel was off of the main road but very quietly recessed. It's far enough from the very touristy area to feel authentic (and is cheaper) but you will need a 25 minute walk or 50 baht for a tuk tuk.

Charlie and Jeab are perfect hosts! We felt really welcome, they helped us with anything. Room is big and clean. Great shower. Good wifi. Location is also very good. Far from the noise but still close enough to the beach. Dvd's at reception is also a big plus. Thank you for everything! We recommend everybody to stay at Baan Taveesri.

The fact that we could relax was, to us, a major issue. The pool was well maintained as were the gardens and surrounds. Our host Ming, was excellent in everything she did, her omelettes for breakfast were very enjoyable. The location and the incredibly friendly and co-operative staff and the facilities and the access to some many other retail and recreational outlets. The pool is excellent and the fact that the hotel provides IPADs to all guests was a real bonus. Finally, the food exceeded our expectations.

Glur has far exceeded my expectations even after reading great
rewievs. Amazing setting, laid back, very clean, great hosts, comfy
beds, great design, great great great. It's a 20 min walk from the
beach but every other place thats closer to beach is on the main busy
road full of shops, restaurants, and traffic noise. This is like the
secret hidden paradise spot, so close to everything this town has to
offer yet so removed from all the touristy nonsense. And I cant
believe they dont charge more

I cannot say enough about how much we loved our time at this hotel! The staff was AMAZING. Everyone was falling over themselves to be helpful and welcoming. The front desk staff was warm and incredibly helpful with scheduling tours, suggesting restaurants, etc.. The hotel itself is so beautiful. An oasis from the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang. I wasn't sure about not having a beachfront hotel, but the grounds were so beautiful I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

The staff was extremely helpful with every need.
I am disabled and travel with a medium sized Service Dog. This is unusual in Thailand, but they were wonderful.
When I lost my camera. They found it and brought it to me, even though there was no longer room available for me at their hotel.
