  Modern hotel 2 blocks from lake and all the 5 star hotels but not at a 5 star price. Every member of the staff was nice and helpful. Very convenient to bus (tours) and great restaurants. My last day I asked if they had bottled water to take, they did not but offered to run to the store for me.   We found the hotel was ideally situated for our needs. It was within walking distance of all means of transport, attractions, dining out - as it did not have a restaurant which suited us fine.   I stayed here because the other hotels were outrageously expensive during the week in Geneva and there were 2 UN conferences so much was booked out. It turned out to be fine. I booked a double room, as that was all that was available, and thus had actually a corner room with 3 windows and plenty of space. The hotel is plain and functional. The location near the train station is excellent so easy - The location is very central. Close to the lake, so with just a few steps, you can have a fantastic view of the lake. Price is a value for money (considering how Switzerland is very expensive) because the room is very comfortable to stay in. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Do ask them for a city bus pass cause that helped us a lot!
