We had no problems parking-and ended up seeing the hotel as soon as we
emerged from the garage-perfect! It's right next to the police
station, so very quiet and safe (not that other parts of the city
aren't). It was a very short walk to the cathedral and the city was
fantastic to wander through. The room was absolutely comfortable-the

it was clean, nicely designed , bright, warm, open and friendly , just around the corner from the cathedral, but with ready access to taxis too. the staff , Diego and the young woman (whose name I didn't get) were exceptionally friendly and helpful ~~ in short a delightful place !!

The Hospederia was an old Hospital for Pilgrams and a monastery. It has been fixed up with rooms. The staff were helpful. The rooms clean as well as the bathhrooms. The breakfasts were routine buffet style and more than adequate.
I had one meal ( lunch) in the dining room. They serve a Menu del Dia. Once again budget friendly , not a gourmet meal

I liked everything! It's right beside the Cathedral. The building itself is beautiful, the rooms are basic but very clean. Breakfast was lovely, all staff were very helpful. The city is Santiago is beautiful, it's definitely a place I will go back to and would recommend it to everyone. There's such a good atmosphere there, everyone is relaxed and friendly.

We stayed as a family of 4 at the Montes Pension Boutique as a city
break to Santiago in July. The location is perfect, just around the
corner from the cathedral and main square. Staff extremely friendly and

fantastic staff--helpful, efficient, engaging. location--right in the middle of Santiago's "old city" and a block from their famed cathedral. Sound-proofed rooms--which i had no idea would be so important...and i still don't know how they do it! Tiny terrace with a great view and fresh air.
Spotlessly clean-with great bed linens.

Amazing location- 5 minute walk to all the good monuments.
Very, very helpful staff- she was so friendly and very welcoming!
Wifi worked very well and room was very comfortable even though a little small.

Location is very centralized, close to the Cathedral. It is minimalist
and chic. But what is impressive is the super friendly staff. The
evening staff at the reception, called Maria, is especially helpful,
friendly and made us feel very welcome with all the tips re Santiago.
Would stay here again next time. The little cafe/eating place serves

The hotel was faboulous, small and cosy, the receptionist was extremelly helpful and funny. She direct us to the resturant and make our stay special. If we ever come back to Santiago we will stay again at the hotel. It is a real boutique hotel, attentif to detail as very nice design testful with a touch of past showing here and there.

The room is nicely designed, with beautiful double-panelled windows, interesting royal sun design on ceiling, carbed stone wall in bathroom. Bird on ledge next to bathroom was a great touch! Bathroom has a warm, aesthetic feel. Overlooks main entry way for pilgrims on Camino de Santiago. Decent breakfast offered. Friendly staff--speak Spanish and French, some English.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean, good location. The room was very inviting and comfortable. Bright, warm with awesome windows. Shuttered doors leading onto enclosed sun room. All the windows in the sun room opened. My only regret is that I didn't have enough time to lounge in the room more. -

What can I say !! This is a beautiful little apartment overlooking
Inmaculada Square. One could also see the Cathedral. We arrived at
Plaza Do Obradoiro where I parked and Lavinia went off to find Ines the
owner of the apartment.Ten minutes later she arrived with Ines in
Ines' car. We transferred our luggage and then followed Ines to the
car park

There are nothing bad to talk about this place. The location is perfect,
behind of La Catedral de Compostela (the main church) and right in the
middle of the old city, full of restaurants, souvenirs stores and bars.
The room is very comfortable, like a small apartment with new facilities
and a very good view. Ines, the hostess, is best friend you could have
in your stay. She will try her best to make you feel comfortable and
tell you everything you must see/do, do not forget to have a nice
talk

The location (the closest hotel to the Cathedral that wasn't the 5*parador), the cleanliness (room was immaculate), the comfort (double bed! wooden floors, modern furniture). You have your own balcony facing a palace. It was really the perfect stay for the money <3 -
