  My boyfriend and I just spent 3 wonderful days (2 nights) at this place. Where to start? the house and the surrounding lands are beautiful and peaceful. Maite and her partner are warm, respectful, always ready to help, and go out of the way to make sure you feel welcome and pampered. I highly recommend the food here. You can also t - We enjoyed our two night stay at Castell de Gimmenelles so much that we tried to return a few days later, but unfortunately for us they were full. Jordi and Marieke are fabulous hosts and Jordi is a very good chef, we recommend eating at the onsite restaurant. This is a home away from home in the beautiful Penedes wine district. The bedrooms are large and there are several lounge areas where you can relax. There are some good walks in the nearby hills.

  We were looking for a hotel near Montserrat and close to Barcelona as we were flying out the next day. This hotel is literally in the vineyards in a small town and very quaint. The rooms were spotless and comfortable with ac and wifi.
