  We stayed at Hostal La Isla in august for 7 days with the half-board service. Satisfying food - but don't expect a five stars treatment, remember it is a hostel - daily cleaning service, aircon+wi-fi, closeness to the touristic port, the city centre, a supermarket and a free car parking in case you rent a car. Friendly and kind staff. Believe me, ... что говорят » it a good value for money and you won't get deceived by this hostel. - The owner was extraordinarily friendly and helpful; the double bedroom for a single person was more than adequate. Breakfast was lovely and he offered me choices of cheese and tomato on the toast - very Spanish and very nice. Location was very central but yet very quiet. Extremely good value. I will return because it's a beautiful spot and the people are so warm.

  Admiral Lord Collinwood stayed here, in what was then a villa, whilst he was Commander in Chief of the British Navy in the Mediterranean during the Napoleonic era. The hotel is decorated with numerous paintings and artifacts from that era. It is also very convenient for visits to the forts at the entrance to Mahon harbour.   Everything was first class. Pedro, the owner, was one of the warmest, most helpful hotel owners I have ever come across. And his staff were equally as efficient and hospitable. The hotel is crazily good value. The room and location were perfect, and the amount of trouble the staff went to in giving me a beautiful breakfast was very impressive.   The owner (or manager) of the hotel is one of the kindest person I have ever met! He was extremely helpful and flexible! The hotel is really close to the center of Ciutadella and to the sea as well, but for the nearest beach you need to walk some minutes (which is really few in Menorca!). The location was quiet and friendly as well! Really nice ch... что говорят » oice for this price! - Very friendly staff. Good location, only 10-15 mins walk from the town centre. Clean room, everyday cleaning service. Check-out at 12 noon, and not early in the morning like other hotels. Comfortable bed, big bathroom,quiet location. Very easy parking around! Didn't have breakfast so we cannot comment. Last but definetely not least: great value for money!

  if you are a budget traveller, I highly recommend this place in Minorca. Perfect position, close to Ciutadella city centre, very close to a cheap supermarket and a self service laundry, and on the way to the most beautiful "cale" of the Island. Rooms are maybe a bit small but clean. Beds are comfortable. Simple clean furniture, the wardrobe smelt ... что говорят » good. We had our own private bathroom. Rooms are cleaned every day. If you have a car, the parking is right in front of the Hostal.The owner, Inés, is - The staff were just so super lovely.. You walk in and are greeted with such a warm smile. They were more than happy to give directions, suggest places to go.. In fact the woman at the front desk spent so much time helping us with maps that we felt like we had a personal assistant! The room was clean, comfortable and the bed was comfy.. The shared bathroom was clean also. No complaints!

  The food at the hostal bar was amazing and the hostal itself was very cosy and inviting. Definitely a great location and I would recommend it to anybody with a budget! - It was situated near to Maó and near to es Castell also. It was a bus service.
