Wonderful helpful, friendly staff whom we spent a lot of time just chatting with! Small, intimate hostel (max 28 ppl at one time) so it is really easy to socialize with your fellow travellers. As two 20-something girls we stayed in the private bedroom with 2 single beds and it was perfect! Looked just like the pictures and felt like a boutique hot

city, not far from the Nord train station and close to everything else.

Lovely place, great interior, nice bed and spacious room and bathroom. We booked only a few days before arrival and where pleasantly surprised by the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed staying at this hostal, at first view on arrival it looks a bit edgy, but once inside and settled we realized why so many of the reviews were so positive! El Rincon was well-located near to centre city, restaurants and coffee shops, touristy stalls and a really good local fresh food market and city tourist attractions. We were lucky enough to happen across a small religious parade of an icon through the streets. We were able to walk from the train to the hostal which is located in the old town.

I ist just an amazing place :) You live in a side street (so it's pretty calm compared to the general noise in Valencia) and you are close to everytning.
All what we needed was in walking distance. They rent also bicycles (we got 10% discount). We cycled to the beach and to the Albufera reserve (It was really worth the effort). And if you need so

The hostel is very basic but practical and ideal for those on a budget.
Centrally located, it is an ideal base when exploring the city and the
surrounding areas. I opted for my own bathroom which was well worth the
additional 4 euros per day. I'm often concerned about security in
Hostels but this was diminished in El Cid completely - I felt
comfortable leaving my belongings in my room when out and about.
