This B&B was better than I expected, even having read their reviews. The location next to Il Campo meant we could watch the lottery for the next Paleo on the TV and hear the excitement loud and clear through the window!
Laura and her husband couldn't be more helpful and even managed to find us horse riding in the Tuscan hills for 22e and organise the transport.
On the Sunday morning my daughter and I rose at 5.30am to explore the city before it became too busy and we were the only ones on . все обзоры »
The Hotel is located in the best location in Siena. The view from our balcany room was incredible. The owner of the hotel is on property and is focused on your comfort and satisfaction. The hotel is an amazing value. There is no lift, but, the owner assisted me both in and out of the property. He made a point to be there at 5:45 AM to assist me on my departure! We love this place. We hope to return to Siena and Albergo Centrale.
This is a very sweet hotel. It is in a perfect centralized location for a stay in Siena. The hotel offers everything needed for a comfortable stay with those special details giving it that personal touch. From the linen towels in the bath to the lovely terrace for relaxing with a glass of wine, we appreciated and enjoyed our stay.
The staff was very courteous and helpful.
The staff was so helpful! Thanks to them we ended up in a fantastic
restaurant! The price was great and the breakfast in the morning was
charming yet simple. We really enjoyed our time there. I'd
definitely recommend it for the price and service.
The location was great. The view from my room was lovely. It is two
blocks from Il Campo and one block off one of Siena's main streets,
yet it is down a quiet block. Lovely couple run the hotel and provide a
very nice continental breakfast.
It was very close to the main square. The staff was friendly and
supplied us with any information we asked for. There breakfast was
great and it gave us a chance to talk with other tourists. Great value
and location!.
The room with balcony was wonderful. The young couple who are managing the hotel (Laura and husband). We're exceptional ally nice to us. Very helpful and friendly. Loved that it is a very small hotel, only 7 Rooms.
Loved the location, just two blocks from the Piazza del Campo, loved having a private patio with the option of having our breakfast there. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The owners were wonderful, they helped me immensely with hassles and the facility was perfect for a rewarding stay in Siena.
Brilliant location in the heart of Siena. Wonderful staff. Excellent value for money. Breakfast included.
- Fantastic location of the hotel, a stone-cast away from Piazza del Campo
- great value for money.
Location for visiting was perfect, nice staff. Basic and clean room.
Helpfull, nice staff. The hotel is really in the centre of Siena.
Staff was so nice. Location is 2 minutes walking to the piazza.
Central location
Super room with great view
Balcony.
The location is right near all the Siena sites.
Friendliness of staff
Location
Budget.
location was nice.
Close to all sights.
The only good thing about this hotel is its location.
But it was very hard to enter the old city with our car and finding this hotel and then climbing to the 4th floor with all our bags and NO elevator. Another surprise was when we entered our room - no A/C in August heat....Awful!
Breakfast was pretty poor as well as WI-FI signal in the room.
I really don't understand what's all that excitement about in other reviews here...
We'll definitely go to another hotel in our next stay in Siena.
Absolutely nothing.
Leaving!.
The 74 steps to get to the hotel...not problem but something to be aware of when booking.
Everything was great, nothing to dislike.
The mattress was quite hard (common in Italy). The 72 steps up to the
hotel can be daunting for someone not accustomed to climbing stairs or
the infirm. I live on the third floor of a nyc walk-up, so it was not a
big deal for me. Luggage was carried up and down the stairs for me.
Just a tip you have to walk five floors but they have a crane to haul
your luggage and a wonderful view out one window that can be seen during
breakfast.
ALOT of stairs, but they helped us carry bags.
Four flights of stairs to climb, which I didn't realize when I booked. But they have a winch to bring luggage up, and except when we arrived after walking with our luggage from the train station, the stairs weren't much of a bother.
there were minor inconveniences (noisy refridg in the room) but nothing that really mattered relative to how great it was to be there.
Might not be suitable for people who are unable to climb 4 flights of stairs, however a pulley system takes your luggage to the 4th floor.
Not close to train station.
The room was too hot in June, and there is no air conditioner...
The four flights of stairs would not suite some people but did not worry me and the staff helped me with the luggage at start and end so this need not be of concern to most.
Albergo Centrale is on the top floor of a building with no elevator, so be prepared to haul your luggage up the stairs.
Bathroom looked quite tired
Breakfast was 1 croissant & 1 roll with jam.
no option to park the car and even dropoff was not possible so we had to walk with all luggage up the siena hill.
We would not recommend this hotel. The room was quite small, with uncomfortable beds. The shower was very weak - probably the worst we had in all of Rome. Staff were not very friendly. We got there a little early and were not permitted to use the toilet or change our clothes.
no car park.
The hotel is on the 4th floor and there is no elevator.
No A/C.
Extremely poor WI-FI signal in the room.
Everything. 5 flights of stairs, sorry breakfast, unfriendly staff, terrible facilities. It is not a hotel.
