After reading previous reviews regarding the size of room, we're glad we still went ahead and booked! Bedroom big enough for 3 adults and dog, without shuffling round each other. Bathroom also very good size. Staff extremely helpful. Nice little bar area for a nightcap. Didn't try breakfast as we had an early train, but area looked clean and pleasant. Would stay again.

As we had an issue with the booking (it seems that there was no more room available), we were called by the hotel 1 hours after we bookeed (55e for 3 people - 1 room) and proposed to be upgraded to another hotel (105e per night/room) but we paid 55e. The room was newly decorated, it was simple but classy. The bed was very comfortable. The staff spoke good English and were very helpful. There is a free carpark. Initially we picked the hotel because we only wanted to spend one night in Calais en route to central France and it was reasonably priced. We found it to be excellent on all matters. The room was comfortable, the staff were very friendly, they are dog friendly and the hotel dining room was first class with a good selection of well cooked meals. - T

St Omer is a lovely little town only about 30 minutes away from Calais,
so if you want to get away from the bustle its a great place to relax
outside a bar. Food and drink at budgets to meet all pockets. Ibis is

Good, clean budget hotel great for a one night stopover. We had stayed here before and were not disappointed. We had problems with our TV and the hotel staff were really helpful and friendly and tried to fix it. When they couldn't they offered us another room but we said that we could live without the TV for one night!
