Friendly, close to ring road (with surprisingly little noise). Ideal if you are travelling through and want to stay on the outskirts. Optional breakfast was croissants, coffee, bread and yoghurt. Good for the price as ensured we did not have to search for breakfast and could just hit the road. They also gave us a 10% off voucher for the steak rest

Hotel was very quaint. We were told that it was built in the 16th
century. Great location, just far enough away to walk to bars and
restaurants but just far enough away from the noise, however there is
still some noise when people were heading home. We stayed for one night

The location of the Comtes de Champagne is perfect for exploring the centre of Troyes. This was an unexpected pleasure and we spent hours wandering through the little winding streets.
We were pleased that the hotel provided secure parking.
The hotel is very atmospheric, with many interesting features which reflect its history.
Breakfast was plentiful and efficiently served.
Bathroom and bedding were clean

My partner and I chose to stay overnight at this hotel for its restaurant Le Royal. In the Michelin app it is listed as 'Traditionnel, Classique'. And that's exactly what it is. Good gourmet food for a very reasonable price; a three-course menu for under €30 is excellent value including a cheese trolley and/or dessert trolley!

Decor to a high standard throughout with many interesting features. The room was large and comfortable with bottled water and tea and coffee facilities. Spacious bathroom with plenty of hot water. This was a most artistic and beautiful place. The decor was suberb. Everything was perfect, bed, towels, little fancy bag of shampoo, etc. Even cotton buds provided. Owners were delightful and helpful (spoken English limited) but fine. Would love to stay here again.

Slightly quirky but absolutely loved this B&B. The lady who owns the house is delightful as is her daughter who speaks good English. fireplaces in every room, feels like you're in a small castle. Giant
clawfoot bath in room 1 is amazing, can't help feeling like a queen.

they have only 4 rooms. It doesn't feel like a hotel, it feels like

Great little studio apartment close to the train station and easy to find. The apartment itself had everything that we needed: fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom with a great shower and a separate toilet, very comfortable futon bed (more comfortable than some beds) and laundry facilities.
