  The hotel was right in the middle of town with car parking. It was very quiet and our room was a good size with a balcony which had the afternoon sun. Although we did not eat in the restaurant it had very good reviews and was very busy - you needed to book. The owner & staff were very attentive. Good on site parking was also available for our motorbike.

  lift to carpark for ease and privacy (stated over night only ) - Excellent staff and wonderful breakfast. Wonderful little town. At 37 euros per night we had a really good time exploring Normandy with this hotel serving as a great base.

  Communication with the hotel via email was both prompt and accommodating in French/English/Franglais. Staff were able to provide good insight to local amenities. The welcome was joyful, inclusive and engaging. The comfort of a spacious en-suite room with cool bed sheets and hot shower on a warm July night was invaluable. Restaurant was not open on the day we stayed (we knew this in advance) but plenty of local restaurants. Conveniently situated in centre of town; reasonably easy parking outside.

  Enjoyed our stay at Hotel Christol, the location was excellent just a short walk to the town, found some great places to eat and drink and the setting at the lake was lovely. The Hotel was clean and friendly, ideal just as a base. Woud certainly go back to Bagnoles and Hotel Christol again.

New with a lovely spa pool and indoor children pools with slides etc. Very clean, we had patio area with table and chairs. Walked into town about 10 mins via direct tarmac paths.
