The staff were highly attentive, especially Fernando, who I believe was the manager. He made us feel very special given it was a birthday trip. Extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is beautiful and well located, walking distance to the shops and Pope's palace. The rooms are huge by European standards and well appointed. We will definitely stay here again.

Hotel was fairly easy to find and reception staff was very friendly, informative, and helpful. Internet worked well and private parking was appreciated. We would probably stay here again. -

This was my second stay at La Mirande, and it was just as wonderful as the first time. The staff is exceptional and very willing to help in any way. We used Avignon as our base to travel all around Provence and felt we were returning to a quiet home estate at the end of each day. Beautiful surroundings and the melodic ringing of bells is simply perfection.

The hotel was clean and tidy, the hotel hired cycles which was an easy way into town and the food/wine at the restraunt was excellent. - Ideal place to be relaxed. The hotel is located on the island right next to Avignon with a swimming pool. In addition to sightseeing, you can enjoy bicycling in the area. Excellent food!

The lady on reception was very helpful. A good basic hotel for the price, especially at Festival time in Avignon. The walk in to Avignon was unexpectedly pleasant with a cycle track running beside the river. The walk to the TGV station was also not as far as expected. -
The price was excellent and the breakfast was nicely served and a good value.

I liked the tranquillity of a hotel which was set so centrally. It was lovely to come back and sit in the garden of an afternoon. Also it was so convenient for the railway and bus services but as well as having access to everything locally (the Rhone just a stone's throw away). The hotel is typical IBIS - not a bad thing, not a good thing, just a fact. Personell is very friendly and is doing a good job and make you feel pleasant. Location is also pretty good - right near the train station and 10 min walking to the very center of town. WiFi worked well. -
