  We had a wonderful stay at Kurrajong and would definitely stay here again. We stayed in the Benjamin room and were very happy, tastefully decorated and with attention to detail this room was lovely. The hosts Graeme and Julie were very friendly and helpful, we were greeted with a handshake and given a map of the local area. Julie actually contact us before our trip asking if we wanted to change to the bigger Campbell room (for a small increase in price), which we accepted (and glad we did). The house is a beautiful Victorian bungalow, filled with antique furniture and ornaments, in the Victorian style and set in a magnificent garden filled with flowers. Our hostess, Jennifer, was welcoming and informative and nothing was too much trouble for her. We - If you like old-world charm, you should like Ashton Gate. It's spacious, nicely decorated room, with large, clean modern bathroom. Excellent breakfast in dining room; use of comfortable sitting room any time, with tea, coffee, home-made biscuits and even a nightcap from a crystal decanter if you so wish. House is well lit at night - easy to find your way in. Jennifer's suggestions for places to dine were welcome. Thank you for a wonderful Tasmanian winter stay.
