O que as pessoas dizem
The front staff are excellent. The location for everything can not be beat. The room was big and I like that there is a dresser to unpack my clothes and hangers to hang stuff up. There are 2 showers and 2 toilets on each floor. Never had to wait for either. The place was awesome for our needs. I'm not someone who likes to pay a lot of money for a room I'm hardly in. The price is phenomenal for San Francisco. As well, Dottie's, which is a fantastic place for breakfast, is right next door. todos opiniões »
They have done a great job restoring the building. The showers and
restrooms were always clean. The washers and dryers were brand new and
worked very well. The staff here are cool. Great place to stay. The area
doesn't bother me, but I was born and raised in San Francisco. Most
of the freaky people are on the other side of Mission Street.
You get exactly what you pay for and more. Staff was very friendly and polite. Location is right in the middle of Market Street and perfect for staying in SF for festivals like Outside Lands or concerts. Incredibly budget friendly. Clean. Recently renovated. Neighborhood is pretty quite relative to other streets at night.
For San Francisco, this hotel is excellent value. I paid $65 dollars and other hotels in the same area for that price are no where near this standard. It's quiet, clean, comfortable and the staff help with luggage. They offered a later checkout and luggage storage. 24 hour opening.
The room was cute, the bed was a bit small, but for just a few nights it was perfect. It is really cheap, and close to some beautiful objects: just a few blocks away from town hall, a lot of shops are close too. The wifi was really good.
My granddaughter and I were expecting the worst of the worst and were
pleasantly surprised at how clean the room was. We were also happy about
how close we were to the trolleys, bart, and cable car.
Good staff, very helpful. Good wifi connection, great location, five minute walk to union square shops and restaurants, and two minutes from major bus routes, trams, cable car, and trains.
Great hotel for the price. Surprisingly cute furnishings and very SF building. Elevator was charming with a glass door. Excellent location in terms of walkability.
The people, staff were so helpful. Kept our bags for us, let us use the phone and were just generally lovely.
i was very impressed with the friendly and helpful staff at all hours and i felt security was adequate.
Kind and friendly owner. Very convenient to everywhere, be it to the town hall or shops. Great WiFi!.
i loved the cheap prices and the shower slippers, the old style elevator was a very nice touch.
Staff is very friendly.
The place is rather small but clean.
Location is good.
proximity to transportation
bargain/single room/center
service.
Big Room
Central location
Great staff.
The price is really good for San Francisco, the security of the building
was good, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the wifi connection
was always strong. I have read other reviews about the showers not being
hot, but this was not the case during my stay - showers were hot enough
and I never had to wait to use one.
Whilst the area does feel very sketchy when you first arrive, you quickly realise that the people are harmless, and won't bother you if you don't bother them. I had no issue.
The location is great! It's perfect to visit the town! On the corner
there is one of the best breakfast in town and an excelente vietnam
snack. The toilet and showers were always available and clean. If you.
Comfort, maybe the hotek isn't for you, but if you look for
something cheap and easy, that's the one!.
We appreciated how close the hostel was to union square and Powell to get around. The staff were also very helpful and friendly too. Things were pretty great overall considering the price!.
The room was big enough, renovated.
Hotel was very close to downtown main turist area (market street) -great location.
The persons on the reception seemed friendly and helpful.
owner was very helpful, changed our bed linen on first request, helped to park a car for free(!), and denied from any additional compensation (said it is his work)) like him).
The guys there are cool people willing to be helpful at all times. Room was good, maybe lacking an extra power outlet or two, but all good.
The location of this hotel is very central, close to many interesting sites and easy to move around the city (BART station etc).
Friendly staff. Few minutes walk to union square. Easy to access from airport too. Good price.
in the heart of San Francisco, sweet room but the facilities where small.
People who work there was helpful and nice.
My room was pretty and clean.
Really Clean.
Comfortable room.
Good Value for your money.
Nice and helpful staff. clean and comfortable room.
Staff very responsive, reasonable rates.
The double room was clean and spacious and the cable tv worked well.
Beds were comfy, staff helpful, and in some cases made the effort to
change my reservations through letsbookhotel.com Central location.
Bunk beds were comfy. Easy access to buses.
Cheap and located well to visit the city.
the location of this hotel.
The staff were lovely.
WiFi is working fine.
Not much.
Nothing.
nothing.
Everything was great. Many people complain about the area but, seriously, it's nothing you haven't seen before downtown in any major American city before. I had absolutely no problems.
At night you shouldn't wander down near Mission as it does get rough. You do have to be okay with sharing the bathrooms and waiting for others to be done. I didn't have much of an issue with it but it was for my brother.
The entrance can be a bit daunting as it's a metal grill and you have to press a buzzer to get in so it doesn't look very inviting from the outside.
None.
The location. If you could pick the worst area, this was it. And if you
have never stayed in a European 'style' hotel with a shared
bathroom you won't like this set-up. But we were adventurous and
enjoyed our trip and didn't have any problems.
Toilets and showers are tiny, but nice and clean and we never had to wait for one.
Small bathrooms. One door had a small cutout where it would otherwise not open due to the location of the toilet.
Nothing, some people may be scared or worried about the characters outside the hotel but it's all part of the experience of San Francisco.
for the money/value i can't argue.
There was a construction on that day which sometimes it will be a little bit noisy but that's OK because it's until 5pm.
nothing.
A little bit noisy.
no heating (temporary?)
neighborhood population.
No common area
No extra storage
No lamp!.
Bad area. Didn't feel safe. Our tour guide on the city bus said he wouldn't even get out in the area at night.
You are able to hear shouting outside at all hours of the night, but I
am a heavy sleeper so this didn't bother me.
There are a lot of homeless outside,( zombieland) but they don't
disturb. There are a lot of good hotel in the same neighbourhood, and
really it's not too bad. We get dinner outside with no problem.
The mattress was pretty uncomfortable, and having only one shower per floor was frustrating (although they are currently in the process of addressing this!) the location is good for proximity to sights and transit but is a bit unnerving when you notice the people who frequent the area outside.
The 'double bed' was not that wide and comfortable, as well as, underneath, the whole bed was wrapped with a stretch what was blocking any air flow while sleeping and caused a lot of discomfort.
Many homeless people in this area - not pleasant to walk around especially in the evening.
location is right on Market street, but in night time a lot of homeless people on streets. Rooms doesn't contain shower.
neighborhood isnt really beautiful.
The negative point is that this hotel is very basic and the location is surrounded by marginalization and drug dealers. Anyway this is not dangerous but sometimes uncomfortable.
My room is close to the bathroom and toilet, too noisy to sleep. Homeless around the area, but still safe.
if you come to the hotel you think that it is situation in the ghetto of SF, however we never had problems with people there:).
toilets and washroom not really cosy and pretty
area quite difficult, so I didn't go really out during evening and night, that's why I will probably not recommand it to other travelers, but the hotel is ok, and professionals friendly.
Even if it's really close to Union Square, it is located in a scary street but we didn't have any problem though.
The district is not safe, we didn't want to walk around on our own at night time.
There is just one bathroom for the all floor.
Shower not hot enough, not a great neighbourhood.
Hotel was easy to get to but the appearance of homeless people
surrounding the building can get unnerving if your not use to it. One
shower per level is a pain as its shared between 20 other people,
toilets are also the same. The price they charge is too much for what
you get, I stayed in a nicer room near the airport for almost the same.
It's a hostel...not a hotel...in the middle of a homeless area that smelled like urine.
-The area is really bad, a lot of homeless people.
-One shower for 12 rooms per floor, always taken in the morning.
-The rooms smelled old, flat and it was warm (No Airco)
-Construction in the hotel started at 8am in the morning.
people are not nice.
Location is terrible and felt very dangerous. This place is more of a hostel than a hotel. The hot water for the showers was limited which meant that you could only get lukewarm water which is not great given that it is cold in San Francisco in the morning.
Not enough showers. One for entire floor.
Terrible neighbourhood, so much homeless people, junkies, dealers and so... HELL.
And the street is very loudly through the whole night.
They are trying to charge me $250 because they said I smoked in the room
when I didn't smoke in the room!.
Facilities, bathroom, elevator, location.
Loud, unclean, small, YUK. I booked three nights and left after one because I couldn't bear to spend another night there. I wanted to leave so bad that I didn't even go try to get a refund. I just wanted to leave. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I backpacked through Thailand and Cambodia on a budget.
when I arrived at hotel, it was changed the adress, there's only one restroom on my floor working, they are improving the local yet. I don't recommend.
Bathroom doors dont shut , under construction. And not very comfortable. No parking worry about you car all night.
