  This was our second stay and we stayed for 5 nights. The welcome breakfast pack was excellent and we self-catered for the duration of our stay. The lodge was extremely comfortable and we slept really well because it is so quiet and the bed very comfy. It's a perfect location for exploring both Essex and Suffolk. The Lodge really is a home-from-home, and would certainly be the - The Lodge is very spacious and beautifully furnished with lots of little extra touches to make it like home. Well equipped kitchen. Instant heating when needed (except bathroom). Plenty of seating and tables in the countryside garden. We loved the dual aspect of having a breakfast provided and then able to self cater during the day. This lodge was exceptional value for money. We are already planning our next longer stay.

  It is a beautiful place, crisp, clean and modern. It is deeply peaceful. The breakfast is one of the nicest I have had with so many choices of fruit, croissants and cooked food. The spa itself is really nice and relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a lake with more lotus flowers on than I have ever seen. My friend is a wheelchair-user and it was accessible. - The staff were very friendly and helpful, treatments were fabulous and the food and drink also lovely. We paid for a more expensive room but was well worth it - very spacious and an amazing view of the beautiful gardens.
