  The Riverside looks quite small from the outside but do not be fooled. It is one of the most welcoming places I have stayed at. The manager and staff were friendly and accommodating with nothing too much trouble. There is live music on a Saturday night which adds to the overall experience. I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel. - We thought the staff were very pleasant and very helpful Dave was a very attentive and a pleasant owner Breakfast was up there with the best we have had at any hotel or b&b We had a chat with a few of the locals who were also very nice Most places you go the locals don't welcome you . The residents of Sutton bridge very nice Would not hesitate to return to the riverside in the future

  The facilities were lovely and it was immaculately clean. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing and we even had an evening meal which was delicious and real good value for money. We were amazed, best place we stayed in for a while. And staying there again in a month or so.   Warm, welcoming friendly staff. Our double room was clean, fresh & comfortable with a large en-suite shower room & overlooked the beautiful gardens. Modern decoration throughout & the breakfast was better than anything we could have expected, nothing was too much trouble & lots of choice (including vegetarian). Even our well behaved West Highland terrier was made most welcome. Rylton House, off the main road, in a quiet lane, has pleasant gardens and grounds, lovely, well equipped, comfortable bedrooms, compact ensuites and the breakfast was absolutely excellent.
