The owner, Heather - she is lovely, extremely helpful, makes you feel very comfortable, and genuinely cares for you.
Breakfast was delicious and the breakfast room itself is very charming.
The room was cosy, beautifully decorated, and charming. The shower was also excellent. Attention is paid to every detail, and I would definitely come back there!

Very friendly and served up a great breakfast! The host was very
friendly and wanted to please us in any way she could. Our gps did not
work well so we called and someone came and esorted us to the B&B.
We took bus to and from the Tatoo. -
Received a very warm welcome and then shown to our clean and compfortable room .

Beautifuly decorated and very comfortable place to stay. Dean is a wonderful host - we felt like visiting an old friend. Good location as Edinburgh's Grouse House is situated in walking distance to all the attractions but far enough from them to easily find free parking. We will definitely stay there if we ever come back to Edinburgh. -

Room was very nicely and comfortably furnished, inpeccably clean that it
made me feel at home immediately. There were nearby bus stops but I had
preferred to walk (about 15 minutes to Waverley Station). A large
supermarket (Tesco) is 5 minutes away and so are a number of
restaurants. I went on a day tour that set off early in the morning and
John (the owner) gladly served breakfast earlier than usual for me, so
that was great hospitality. If it were not fully booked, I'd have
loved to stay at M

All rooms were very spacious (we had the 1st floor suite) and the location was only about 5 minutes walk from Haymarket and Princes Street. Flat screen tv with multiple satellite channels. Kitchen well stocked daily with breakfast/snack items. Reception/housekeeping more than helpful and friendly. Muy bien ubicado en el centro de la ciudad con acceso a recorrer andando cada rincon de Edimburgo, muy limpio en todo momento con la posibilidad de conocer gente de todo el mundo con la que practicar tu Ingles. Hay que destacar la amabilidad de todo su personal que siempre tiene una sonrisa para recibirte y ayudarte en todo lo que necesites. La verdad si volviera a Edimburgo repetiria en Haggis hostel sin duda.

It's a really lovely decorated house. The owners are extremely
friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really tasty with good choice of
food (glutenfree, vegeterian, vegan was no problem). The area was
extremely quiet during night time. The house is in walking distance to
the castle and the royal mile. There are several good restaurants in
walking distance (5-10 minutes).
