Staff lovely, very informative. The room was nice and big, very clean
and the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in! A fridge in
the room which was helpful and a lovely settee for when you get back
from a long day sightseeing! Bus stop is right outside the guesthouse
and there is free parking on the street outside so you can leave your
car and easily get around the city. It is also very close to walk if the
weather is nice. No comparison to other guest houses in the area, this
stood. todos opiniões »
the host and owner was very friendly, helpful and nice. Fhe room itself was smaller than expected for a family room. As I was alone in the room it was fine. but 3 people in this are definately will not work. The area itself is soso. Got called names from some youngsters one evening after I declined to give them money. Would love to,come back.
I was travelling alone and the owners made me feel safe and welcome.
Would recommend this place if you're a single female on her own. It
was like staying with Family; and I chose it for this reason based on
other traveller reviews. Fantastic!.
Friendly, clean, very good breakfast. Especially liked the location,
could walk to the Edinburgh Castle in less than 15 minutes. Very nice
house and neighborhood was close to restaurants as well.
- close distance to city center
- good breakfast, lovely breakfast room
- nice Georgian house
- cozy atmosphere
- clean sheets and towels
- soap and shampoo in bathroom

Everything was perfect - spacious and cosily furnished rooms, perfectly clean. Nice and friendly owner. Breakfast very tasty. Only the best impressions of this stay.
The breakfast was very very good. Owner was friendly and helpful. A nice little Bed and Breakfast that is located conveniently. Comfortable beds too!.
Looked just like it did on the website. Clean, comfy, good breakfast, handy for city centre, parking available.
- Excellent place to stay. Friendly stuff. Really good breakfast. Clean, quiet! Highly recommended.
Owners are very friendly. Premises are clean. Stay here is very good value.
Location - walking distance to the centre of the city and free parking.
Staff friendly. Good cooked breakfast. Plenty free parking nearby.
Room was a great size, comfy bed
Breakfast was very nice.
Location, good breakfast choices.
The owner is wonderfull!.
Location, clean.
good breakfast.
The localization of the Conifers is convenient, both for the Old City (10 minutes by bus) and for Leith. Although the Conifers is close to Leith Walk, it is at the local street and the rooms are quite (at least, those facing the garden). There are nice pubs and restaurants nearby. Dave, the owner, is nice and helpful and the Scottish breakfast served by him was really tasty!.
The place was very clean and my bed was very comfortable. A cheap taxi ride (about £6) from the centre of town.
Need to spend a few days there to get things done!.
the area is not really nice when you go up to Leigh and turn left to the ocean front area.
A little bit pricey. Well, stayed there while the Edinburg tattoo weeks and so I think that was the reason.
- The owner was a bit cold and distant but helpful if asked.
- very slow wifi in the room
- the carpet in our room hasn't been cleaned for a while. We found hair, ear plugs, a piece of a broken cup.
nothing.
I was allocated the ground floor room at the back of the house near kitchen. It was on the small side. The bathroom was very small. There was no communal area to relax in.
A little bit far out but still walking distance we just always got caught in the rain.
expensive for the area.
Nothing.
cold.
The room we were offered (no 1) and especially the bathroom, were small. As we were staying there only two nights and spent the whole days outside, it was not a problem; however, the lack of space could be bothersome if we stay longer.
I was hoping/expecting the breakfast to be slightly better.
