O que as pessoas dizem
I loved how clean it was and how it was just so close to everything, shopping centers, food places and the scenery. It was a little walk from the train station, but it was worth it. The beds were so comfortable and everything in the room was spotless. The decor in the rooms was so unique and very artistic. I loved that they had free wifi, considering the previous hotel I stayed at the night before didn't even want to give us the wifi password. I plan to stay here again this summer. The hotel was in an excellent location, close to shopping area, surrounded by different places to eat, quite close to the castle and old town. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, included possibility to make coffee and tea, there was even a bottle opener attached to the table :) The bed was big and comfortable, bathroom large and clean, the breakfast was simple, but well worth its price. All-in-all I would definitely consider staying there the next time I vi.
Lo mejor, la localización del hotel y su personal. Muy céntrico y con una parada del bus del aeropuerto justo en la puerta. El personal fue muy amable y nos ayudó mucho cuando necesitamos asistencia médica. Muy recomendable.
Location and staff are the best. Very near from city centre, with the airport bus stop just in front of the door of the hotel. Staff was so kind and helped us very much when we needed a doctor. I recommend this hotel and if I go back to edinhburg I will choose again this h.
We stayed in the cityroomz this weekend and it was nothing but excellent. We were greeted by Sheelagh at reception very early that morning. As we had an arrived on an early flight, she was so kind offering us complimentary breakfast till our rooms were ready. Overall excellent staff with a friendly atmosphere. Clean, comfy, warm rooms with all the necessities. I will definitely be staying there again. Highly recommended.
We were allowed to check in early and leave out suitcase in the room all day rather than carry it around Edinburgh all day. They also let us leave our suitcase in the luggage room until we were ready to leave the day after so we could enjoy the rest of our time in the city. Lovely decor in the room and a very comfortable bed! We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit.
Great value for an excellent location (on Airlink route from airport plus close to city bus tour). 1 block from distance to shopping on Princes St. and 10min to the castle.
Family room (queen + 2 bunks) was a great set-up with really comfortable mattresses. We were put in a quiet corner so we wouldn't hear the nearby construction.
Would definitely stay here again!.
Location! The best location! Two supermarkets downstairs! Lot of shops! Right in the city center. Castle very close! Bus airlink 100 arrives next door! Backside of hotel very quiet! Bed very comfortable! Staff very helpful! There is a big music theater like 200 meters away! I missed it! You guys should go see a concert!.
Extremely clean and comfortable-great value for money, staff welcoming and very helpful. Me and my Daughter were able to leave our bag (without charge) before check-in and the day of check-out until our train was due for departure. Overall a comfortable, enjoyable stay and wouldnt hesitate to stay again -Thank you.
The location of the hotel with very friendly staff. Room was clean and had eveything one could ask for in a one stop overnight . Breakfast was great valve for £4:95 . There we lots of eating places close at hand and takeout. The airport bus stop was outside main door ...
I was at Edinburgh from 22nd to 26th september 2013. The Cityroomz for me have: Wonderful location, nice design, cleaness, wonderful: bed, pillows and linen. Delicious breakfast. And everything for a very low price. I'm absolutely happy to stayed there.
Location, bus stop air-link line 100 in front of the hotel. Princes street just 1 min. walk. Center just 10 min. walk. Room simple but very clean. Liked tea and Coffey facilities in the room. Beds made up, clean towels and more tea. Comfortable beds.
This hotel was clean and comfortable and was in the perfect location, on the reception was a man called Jim who was fantastic, his customer service is amazing, he had a great sense of humour, loved this hotel so much, best we have ever stayed in.
Great man on reception - very helpful and pleasant. Housekeeping staff pleasant too. Lovely and quiet overnight because the road is closed to traffic whilst the tram works are being completed. Good location close to Princes St. Breakfast good.
Our room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The staff were lovely. The hotel is right next to Princes street, so an excellent location for exploring. The bus stop for the airport is right outside the front door. Also, free map!.
Our room was very comfortable and quiet even though we were at the front of the building. It was very well placed for attending Edinburgh Fringe events and reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful. We would definitely stay again.
Great location!:) Cityroomz is right off Princes Street and a 10 minute walk to the castle and the Royal Mile. The room was spotless clean and we had the most comfortable bed we'd ever slept in away from home. Wifi worked like a charm:).
The location is perfect with lots of pubs around, and just at the end of Princes street. We stayed there only 1 night before leaving and the airport bus stop is just 1min.
Our room was on the back therefore very quiet!.
The location was great, just a few minutes walk away from shops, bars, restaurants and sights. Modern new rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was very good, with lots of choices and plenty. It was just 4-95 Pounds.
Staff were extremely friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful. We were travelling with our 7 year old grandson, stayed in a family room and would have found our stay a lot more stressful without their help.
This is a budget hotel that does everything you would expect well. Rooms were small but well equipped and clean. Staff were friendly and efficient. Location for the sights and the Fringe was excellent.
Very friendly staff, tidy and clean affordable room in heart of Edinburgh. Staff couldnt fault were so nice and an asset to the company. Couldn't be more helpful. Cant wait to come back here again!!!!.
From the moment we walked in we were greeted pleasantly and both Dani and James provided excellent service, recommendations and overall a joy to meet and greet us as first-time visitors to Edinburgh.
Edinburgh is a small city and from the hotel i could walk everywhere. The room was confortable and clean. The bus stop to and from the airport is literaly in front of the hotel and that was helpful.
Great location and easy to get to from Haymarket rail station. Friendly and helpful staff. Not far to walk to Princess Street and Princess Street Gardens and the playground in the gardens.
We were very happy with all of the employees, very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast each day if you wanted and very clean. We would stay there again. I Traveled with older daughter.
Location, mattresses great, staff very friendly. Very easy to get bus to
airport from here. Great base to explore from. Buffet breakfast room
big& light and food was good.
it was an easy location for city and airport, lots of good eating places.the breakfast was good.the bed comfortable.
Our room at the front wasnt noisy with the double glazing.
Price is good for this service. Location is very good (2 minutes walking to city center, 20 minutes to Castle). Quick check-in and check-out procedure. Wi-Fi and TV provided.
Great location! Staff is very friendly! Since it was so hot they were kind enough to give us bottled water. Beds were REALLY comfy, great shower water pressure.
Nice room cleaned daily.
Fresh towels daily
Complimentary bathroom products
Quiet at the moment due to tramworks outside. (May get noisier when all completed).
Value for money, clean, friendly staff, good buffet brkfst, and near to a tram stop will be a good addition when completed. late nite supermkt nearby..handy.
close to princesss street and haymarket station and all tourist attractions pub /restaurant across from hotel great value normal prices will return.
Great location. Very central to all sights. Beautiful breakfast. Comfortable room and bed. Supermarket across the road. Quiet location due to road works.
Good location, friendly and helpful staff; clean room. Well isolated windows: although roadworks were going on right outside, we did not hear a thing.
City centre location, good value for money, friendly and helpful staff,
clean and comfortable room with en-suite and extremely comfortable
large bed.
Good location, close to Edinburgh castle, just off princess street and close to rose street. Budget friendly. Clean. Cozy sized rooms and bathrooms.
Great Hotel! Very good position, close to Princes Road!
Breakfast was great! The room was a bit little but very comfortable, and absolutely clean.
The bed was fine and comfy. The shower was excellent and more selection of tv channels than most other hotels. I also liked our own private safe.
Location great just at the end of Princes Street, good eating places nearby, taxi around the corner, room very comfortable and clean.
Jim and the lady at front desk were delightful and extremely friendly and helpful. We loved the day room w/ TV and coffee/tea 24/7.
Very friendly and helpful staff esp in reception, spotlessly clean, tea/coffee making facilities, good continental breakfast (extra).
Well loctated. 3-4 bus stops to train station. The room is clean, warm with good facilities. We had a good living experience there.
The hotel was near the city centre, the staff were lovely and the room was very clean and it was very quiet night times there.
great place to experience Edinburgh from.. .....central , many busses outside door, nice personnel, clean and comfy.....
really nice hotel great location in city centre friendly staff clean and tidy would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Friendly, helpful staff. Good-sized room. Clean and comfortable. And the free apples at reception are a nice touch.
very central to shopping centre and Haymarket train station. Comfortable and clean. Perfect for a shopping trip.
The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was fabulous.
VERY GOOD LOCATION
very close to restaurant, bar, supermarket, airport bus stop, shopping. Caslte 20min walk.
Breakfast lovely and fresh. Staff lovely and helpful. Little extras like fruit and bottled water for guests.
I din't like that it was so far from the train station, and finding it was a little hard considering they only have a sign on the window that isn't very noticeable unless your looking down when your walking.
There was a street construction just under our windows, which meant an early wake-up call. There was no air conditioner in the room and as it happened to be the warmest season of the year, it was a bit hot in the room. However, none of these negative sides affected our stay too much as we stayed outside most of the day and it was quiet and cool(er) in the night.
Nothing.
no phone or clock radio, no luggage rack or storage. Despite advertising early check-in where possible, and mentioning on our reservation that we needed it after an overnight flight, our room was STILL not ready when we arrived the 2nd time, 2hrs after previous night's check-out.
They were painting the 4th floor the day I checked in. It stinked! But the rest of the days were fine. Desk too small!.
No choice for hot or cold breakfast .
Windows blocked, not able to open.
nothing.
Needed some shelves or drawers for underwear and sox. Also needed a bright light on the desk for those who need to work.
A little bit of noise from the street. But not enough to disturb us or wake us up.
The wall paper behind the bed was a bit loud for our tastes but otherwise it was fine.
Nothing really. We would have loved having a proper wardrobe to store our clothes and some more space around the bed but this is obviously a budget hotel and for a short city trip it's absolutely perfect.
As minor points, there was only one chair in the room and it would have been nice to have a bedside table on both sides of the bed. There are road works going on in front of the hotel, they didn't effect us as we didn't stay in our room during the day but it would have been nice if the hotel had informed us about it in advance.
The roadworks for the new tram system outside.
Honestly nothing at all..
Could use more lighting in rooms.
Only 2 sockets in the room so not great when charging phones etc or
using hair drier as so far for a mirror.
the digging up outside, but with the window closed you couldnt hear the noise.
No breakfast and slippers.
Windows don't open very far, they have a little security wire on them for safety which led to the room being a bit hot (No A/C). Staff was great and gave us a fan though!.
Window had catches so could only open a few inches.
In a room for two persons, there was only one chair. Poorish sound isolation of doors: whenever someone knocked or opened a door in the corridor, it sounded like the door to our room.
Not your fault but the noise of the tram line installation was a bit
much although it did cease early in the evening and we did sleep
very well.
The road outside the hotel is currently under construction and can be noisy during the day. The hotel smelled of fresh paint probably was painted recently. No phones in the rooms to contact the reception or to call out.
The fact thereveas only 2 sugars provided with the tea and coffee.
The road was blocked off due to the installation of the tram line. Very inconvenient, but no fault of the Hotels.
Power points in very inconvenient area of room. Had to use hairdryer without being able to see in mirror.
I would have liked a bit more space for hanging clothes and some drawers for putting jumpers and underclothes in I had to leave them in my case.
Breakfast is not included in the room price.
The area was very noisy at night and during the day due to the tram works. On the first night there was moving and assembling of furniture outside our room until 11pm.
tiny, dark room
small window.
Rooms very hot & stuffy but it was a heat wave.
