The service and staff were excellent. nice and friendly at breakfast and bar staff friendly. Very clean room. easy check-in and out. - Spacious clean room. Set meal in brasserie had good choice and was excellent value for money. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

I was in room 3, which shares a wall with the kitchen (albeit below me) and there was quite a bit of noise from staff radio...I spoke to reception who quickly and efficiently sorted out the problem - couldn't ask for more!

The staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful and happy: something that is rare in the hotel and leisure industry.
The accommodation was immaculate. Beautifully decorated: individual and chic. The bar and restaurant staff were knowledgeable, helpful and had a sense of humour.
It was our first visit to The Lion but it most certainly be our last. Absolutely perfect.

We liked the fact that we didn't come in contact with any human beings like a receptionist. Every thing was automated and we was sent entry codes for the car parking, main door and apartment door via email prior to our arrival.

I was pleasantly surprised by the standard of the room. It was modern, clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. Although on a main road, it was very quiet. It was also extremely reasonably priced. Thank you -

We thought the standard of the hotel and staffing were excellent. We tend to stay in hotets at weekends quite a lot and we think, that this Premier Inn was one of the best value for money weekends we have had. - No fuss - clean and comfortable, which is all that you need for a one-night stay.

The greeting. We were given a phone number to ring, which had the owner coming out to the car park to help with the luggage. Then he showed us things like the fridge to help ourselves to fresh milk. Room big clean and bright. The bathroom was big, with a bath that was big enough to hold the QE2. -
